-Grew up playing video games
-always had the latest games
-Mainly gamed "chronically" the last half of HS Senior year (Jan-May 2010)
-Played MW2 about 6 or 7 hours a day
-Stopped that summer and didn't touch my 360 until BF3 came out
-Got battlefield 3 when it came out (never bought another COD game)
-Played it chronically for the next 3 months
-Stopped abruptly one day and haven't touched a computer/video game since
Any other bros experience this? Literally have no desire to play. One day I practically forced myself to play BF3 and I didn't even get into my first online multiplayer game before shutting it off and doing something else.
EDIT:
My life today:
- Aesthetic
- Working 30 hours a week and maintaining >3.7 GPA
- Riding motorcycles
- Extensive social life
- Playing drums/guitar
- Misc
- In the process of planning 2 month Eurotrip
My life back in the gaming days:
- Shiit GPA
- School all day, come straight home and game til sleep, repeat
- No job
- No motorcycles
- No social life
- No girls

Havent played a game in over 3 months for no reason whatsoever and I can't even get myself to play++ Positive Crew ++

Yup, was a avid MW2/3 player, put so much time in it.
Then all of a sudden all the interest was just gone. Also bought BF3, like Ohpee mentioned, thought I just wanted to play something different. Nope! Still no interest.
100% focused on school and lifting right now, and I like it so much more.

-Played video games all throughout high school
-Got really good at it, started playing in mini tournaments

Played WoW for probably 5 years(quit 2 years ago), probably 10+ hours a day, had over 300 days /played if I remember right. After reaching rank 1 a few times in arena me + the people I played with got bored with the game, we all sold our accounts within the same week. I've never looked back nor played any other game really.

Definitely don't play as much as I did when I was a teen and early 20'1. I mean very rarely. I do have sporadic periods where I might play for a few days, maybe weeks, regularly, and then I will just stop again for months. Even right in the middle of a game I was enjoying, I just wont have any desire to play all of a sudden. I have not bought a new game in years. Always several years old, and buy them very cheeply. I do still keep up a little with the gaming world, whats new and whats comming out, but it lost is major pull a long time ago.

Pretty much yep.
Used to game every day 6-8 hours for about 4 years. It was seriously my biggest passion. I don't even really think about gaming now - haven't had anything installed in ages. Even if i try to game i get sick of it after 30 minutes since i feel like i could be doing something more productive.

Battlefield 3, Release date
-cliffs stated you played for 3 months....
so 9 months of no gaming.. gj man! srs
I started playing MOH allied assault online when I was 10
After that it was COD2.... Kept playing COD2 on PC.. Still jump on from time to time.. Best tactical realism IMO..
Anway when Wrath of the Lich king came out I played WOW untill about a year ago.. That was a hard drop.Super Saiyan Crew

brb warcraft orcs and humans when i'm 7 years old.
brb starcraft
brb diablo 2
brb quake
brb counter-strike
would rather learn an instrument than play any of the **** games that come out now. if you play cod, i've got some bad news bruh.

lol i used to be such a gamer fatboy. get all the games, play countless hours, read gameinformer, watch G4 lol. then like, senior year of high school i started playing wayyy less and became less enveloped in the whole gamer "culture". and when i started university and started getting in shape i totally just stopped (not because i mandated myself to stop, but because i lost interest and was doing things wayyy better and more interesting than playing video games all the time)
i still play fifa occasionally with my boys n sh!t but the gamer days are long gone. lookin forward to GTA V though im not gonna lieImpossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world theyve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Its not really the games that come out now. Some are actually quite good. Same as its always been. Rather as you get older there is this whole world that opens up to you. I actually did start spending alot of time learning musical instruments, and went to college and started enjoying learning, found new hobbies and started to grow in many ways, went back to college. Fantasy realms and virtual activity just couldn't compete with all the real activity and skill development that i filled my life with.
