Has anyone tried the Steve shaw Power Muscle Burn 4 day split? I was reading a bit about it and thought it sounded good. Anyone try it or anyone not try it for some specific reason?

Steve is a pretty knowledgeable guy. I'd trust any program he created.
I did the 5-day split It was great as a post-rehab start. I was a bit intimitated by the volume on the 4-day split. I followed it through eight weeks but I thought the gains were not too impressing so I changed to 5/3/1. But it's a great scheme.my workout log -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147657213

I actually love the power/muscle/burn workout schemes. It's a great way to incorporate multiple training thechniques, and thus stimuli, into a single workout and really bust yourself down, and elicit multiple hormonal responses within the body. Also easy to adapt to your own needs.

Yeah i'm new enough to taking things serious, on a 2 day split currently which i do twice a week however it involves no lower body work due to the fact I had an injured knee,I have been seeing some good results but the knee is getting better so I was looking into maybe changing to a 4 day split when I start back training my legs and was reading through a few things and saw this programme and thought it sounded interesting I have always found his articles very good.
was just interested to see had anybody tried out the programme and had any success with it. Won't be starting a new programme for a while yet but I may well look into doing this as it sounds really interesting and I like the concept, might do a little more research first though.
thanks for the replies! I'll hand out what reps i have!
