Did I want to continue cutting and not be fully pumped about getting in the gym.....or did I want to change things to get that fire back? I reached my goal last year of hitting a 350lb bench easy and realized that I love putting on size and strength while keeping my bodyweight within a reasonable area. So with that realization, Im still eating clean but more calories and I sparked a new fire by simplifying my training and enjoying what I do. New goal for next year is to hit a 400lb bench and Im going for a 355lb PR next week. I believe that sometimes we need to take a step back and look at the whole picture and understand what we really want and what makes us happy. It makes the blood, sweat, and pain all worth it! I became addicted to exercise, the feeling of working hard and seeing results is a feeling that words can't even explain. Having that goal for 2012 made me realize how much I can accomplish when I put my mind to something. It makes me look forward to accomplishing my goals of 2013. The fact that I lost the weight also gives me so much hope for my future, I can do so much more now, have so much energy and overall just feel so hopeful for the future!

    Good luck everyone!

This is a major goal of mine because I would be the first in my family to do so, I did it on my own (without financial aid, loans, outside help, and I am debt free somehow) this means I worked numerous hours while attending school full time and staying in the gym, and finally because I can finally start my career, teaching high school history. Will my education stop there, of course not. I also want to obtain my masters.

The gym is very important to me, it is where I push myself and I set goals to better myself all of the time. However, the hard work I have put into school cannot compete.

I have high aspirations in fitness for 2013, this is the year I'm hoping to make somewhat of a name for myself. I plan on competing for my natural bodybuilding pro card this spring, the first of the contests being in the middle of april. If I'm unsuccessful in my attempt there, there's a couple of other pro qualifiers I have planned to do after that. If I am able to win a pro card, I plan on trying out the IFBB men's physique division and ultimately going for a pro card in that as well. I have some photoshoots lined up for this spring/summer, and will hopefully have some more as the year goes on. With all that being said, 2013 has the potential to be a really good year if everything works out well. I just have to put in the work and bust my ass off day in and day out.. but I'm willing to give it all I got and couldn't be any more excited about the opportunities. I'm starting my contest prep at the beginning of January, so this would come at the perfect time and would greatly help me on my journey to a pro card!

I actually took the original oxy elite while prepping for my first ever bodybuilding contest a few years ago, and it helped lead me to a place a 1st place finish in the novice class This is awesome news that the new formula doesn't have 1-3 dimeth in it because they recently banned that ingredient in my natural bodybuilding organization. This would just make my contest prep that much more even better if I could get the opportunity to try out the new formula for my next contest and hopefully repeating similar results of the first go around!

Very generous promo. I've heard a lot about OEP, but never actually tried it.

My goal for 2013 is to deadlift 405. Mainly because I want my friends - both in real life and online to finally stop giving me $h!t that I haven't done it yet.

So generous! My goals for 2013 are to get into the best shape I can for my wedding in October. My wedding pictures will always commemorate the special moment and I'd like to look as good as I can to compliment my beautiful fiancée.
Just give me all the bacon and eggs you have. Wait, wait. I'm worried what you just heard was, "Give me a lot of bacon and eggs." What I said was, "Give me all the bacon and eggs you have"

    Red face Round 2 Submission

Well 2012 was a crazy year for me in general o many things learned and so many things to appreciate from training o working and just being in good shape. I got some good session in for 2012 from Olympic lifting training with USA renowned trainer Tim swords, to great and intense judo and Brazilian jiu jitasu session and some hardcore cross fit sessions. 2012 was an unexpected year for me but it was something that had a lot of highs and lows. But 2012 I can’t do it again but it sure has helped me in the long run. I really did not set goals for 2012 but really just had a mindset of goals for short and long term just things that were in the back of my head. I thought it would be easier not to set goals but just to train hard and have a great mindset to progress and to get objectives done. Well to achieve my goals I just had a great training partner and great team behind me to push harder and to do something that I thought I could do. I achieved the goals even better once I ha more belief in my ability to do things and to push harder beyond the physical to the mental side of things. Well for most of my goals I achieved them and for some I fell short with a vengeance to get to those goals the next time around and with more fire to get them for the memory of falling short. It affected my goals and outlook in a lot of positive ways like teaching me nothing is impossible till you try it and fail and just with a fire to achieve that goal I fell short of and a positive outlook for what I have done and what I need to do for 2013. Overall my goals are what push me to do things beyond my own potential and hard wok always pays off.

    2013 Fitness Goals:

    1) GET SHREDDED!! Reach 8-9% Body Fat for the first time in my life.
    2) Max Out on ALL my Physical Readiness Test scores!!

It will be tough for me, due to me being in the military & starting training to go to Afghanistan in January, deploying in March. I think having your new OEP would definitely help me with my goal, especially with the obstacles I'll have to go through while being deployed (slim access to cooking, groceries, time, etc.).
Also, I your new formula is safe for use in the military? I know that the previous formula was banned.

But yes, that is my goal & with my current determination, will power, diet change & lifestyle change, I am more determined than ever to reach that goal. Just need that extra boost with what 2013 has in store for me!

Yeah I know...this thread is full of surprises isn't it? We now have at least TWO more winners to go!

    Round #3 Question:

What is the BIGGEST diet, training, health, or physique related goal that you have ever accomplished? How did you do it? What one piece of advice would you give others about achieving their goals?

    Again:
-There's no need to bump your responses

The biggest training goal I have ever accomplished was hitting 2 reps with 405lbs on Deadlift! The way I did it is: I followed a 5x5 training program where I would always add weight with each set and only do from 1-5 reps. I wanted to get my strength up because I was stuck in a plateau for a long time. I needed to change it up to see results. The one piece of advice I would give to others is never give up. Even if you feel you will never reach your goals, don't stop trying because eventually your goals will happen. You just have to believe in yourself.

Question 3: The biggest diet goal I have ever accomplished was losing 40 lbs. On the Atkins diet about 10 years ago. My advice to others is don't try it. It gave me high cholesterol.

Well here goes... My biggest physique goal that I accomplished would definitely be the 10 lbs that I have added of lean mass over the year. I tweaked my diet to be a slight surplus on workout days to stay lean (6 pack and very visible cuts) yet still add mass. I used to not track my diet and eat whatever since its hard for me to gain weight but I stayed lean. Now that I've figured out what works for my body the transformations I can make are incredible. I have the same lean look as I did at 160 but am now ~170. My advice to others is to be as focused on your diet as you are about training and the results WILL come. Not every diet will work the same for everyone but as you figure out how your body responds to different things you will know what to adjust and when do adjust it, such as your macros and calories. Everyone can reach their goal physique with discipline. It's all about just staying on track and knowing its worth it in the end!

Good luck to everyone and congrats to all the past winners!
    Dedicated

here we go my biggest physique related goal i ever accomplished was this year droping from 272 to 227.since i have not seen the 220's since i was 24 and i am now 28.i was also able to start plaing basketball and not get tired 5 mins into the game gasping for breath...recently in my league i plaed 2 full games in a 4 hour span and each game is 40 mins never got out of the game and never felt tired.i did it by finally joining the gym and changing my whole lifestyle i stopped drinking alot stopped smoking cigs and stopped eating so much damn junk food and started hitting the gym 5-6 times a week play in a basketball league and started cooking my own health meals and joined this wonderful community in bb.com.the one piece of advice i would give someone is never give up onyour goals, that its more mental then anything and to always believe in yourself becuase if you dont then you will never make the change and to remember al it takes is one step or one day be it saturday to start your journey

The best piece of advice would have to be to stay consistent. Fat loss/muscle gain doesn't happen overnight. It may take weeks to even notice results, especially when gaining muscle. Don't give up. Train hard, rest, and keep diet on track and with time, your goals will be met and often exceeded.

What is the BIGGEST diet, training, health, or physique related goal that you have ever accomplished? How did you do it? What one piece of advice would you give others about achieving their goals?

For me it was finally getting up off my butt and doing something for myself. As embarrassing as it is, I was an avid World of Warcraft player for almost 7 years, and as a result of that I was literally 130lbs of fat and bones. I was always talked down to for being so skinny and lazy, but I just didn't do anything about it. About 2 years ago was when that changed. Started doing basic exercises around the house, and soon after I got a gym membership. 35lbs later I'm now at 165lbs and considerably stronger. And guess what, I haven't looked back even once. Letting go of that game and signing up for the gym was one of the best things I have done for myself. Sure, it took awhile to learn the ins and outs of gaining good weight, and proper training (and I'm still learning), but I'm damn proud of the strength and size I've gained. Going from a very weak 130lbs sitting on my *** all day everyday, to 165lbs and ~10% BF...I'd say that's a pretty good accomplishment for myself . 35lbs over 2 years might not sound like a lot, but I struggled with fear of fat gain for awhile, so it's big for me. The advice I'd give is: don't be afraid to make the venture into the gym. Sure, it can be intimidating with big guys in there that are much more experienced, but guess what... they also started as beginners. Just like everything else in life, it takes time to learn about exercising/fitness, but the only way to acheive any sort of goal is to start it.

What is the BIGGEST diet, training, health, or physique related goal that you have ever accomplished? How did you do it? What one piece of advice would you give others about achieving their goals?
I gained 70 lbs. in 7 months one year of college, and it wasn't easy, by any means.

It's easy to get lots and lots of carbs, but do it roughly cleanly, to the tune of 6,000-6,500 Calories per day, while training for a sport (rowing)? It's no longer fun to eat, but every second you remind yourself that it'll pay off down the road if you only have the discipline. And it did. I started off at just under 150 lbs. coming off high school track, and by February of the next school year I'd hit 220 lbs.

It's fun coming home and blowing people away, but it's not just that.
That experience taught me everything about what it takes to succeed. I cut to sub-200 lbs. next while gaining strength, and in the present I'm working toward a 405 lb. bench, 500 lb. squat and 600 lb. deadlift (have done 350 x 1 paused, squatted 425 x 2 A2G, and deadlifted 545 at a BW of 207). I used the same discipline it took to gain weight to get my grades and test scores up to get into law school, and I'm proud to say I'll be attending an Ivy League institution next fall.

Sacrifice is nothing, if there's a superior goal at the end. I can live without a couple extra hours of Internet surfing, a little less sleep, a little less anything if I can create the body and strength that I want.

Edit: Wanna add I've been following Chris Duffin and Kameron Ross' progress for a long time, both USP Labs sponsored athletes. Chris has given me tips in the past and I have nothing but respect for both those lifters, as well as heard great things about C20 and AP in particular.

    Round #3 Question:

What is the BIGGEST diet, training, health, or physique related goal that you have ever accomplished? How did you do it? What one piece of advice would you give others about achieving their goals?

    Again:
-There's no need to bump your responses
-If you already won you can respond if you like but you can not win twice

    Aaaaand GO!
I did the 40-40-20 to help me overcome my gout problem. I weighed almost 330lbs and was getting gout left n right...its so painful that it almost made me cry. I has to start working out and did a lot of cardio. One of the main reason i keep working out is tje thought of the gout pain. I will never ever want to feel that pain again.

My advice is to invest in your health. It is very important and it prevents a lot of diagnosis and problems.

The Army makes you run, they don't have time to teach you to love it. While caring for my mother I used running as a way to cope with dealing with her illness and the separation from my family (it took 2 months to get her healthy enough so she could live with us in GE), I continued to run and added lifting (so I would not be a skinny runner). When she passed away I was involuntarily mobilized, I continued to run and lift so I could be strong for the Soldiers I would be leading. I consider that I have found that love of fitness my biggest goal. Share what you love, I plan to.

This is a great story. You win! I agree that intimidation does hold many people back. Intimidation to ask for help, to ask for a spot, to seek support, and so on. Please PM me with your name and address! If I may ask...was there anything in particular which provoked that initial change?

Incredible progress. I too have found that the discipline gained from controlling diet, exercise, and other related habits does carry over into other areas of life...IF it is applied...which you certainly have done. Good job!

    Awesome! Thanks a ton!

What provoked it was basically being talked down to by friends and family. People constantly commented on how skinny I was and that I was to obsessed with that game. I really had nothing to say back to them =/, so eventually it just began to stack and I reached a breaking point. Decided to give myself a rebuttal to what they said. What's funny is that now they all think I'm too obsessed with the gym and making sure I'm good nutrition-wise everyday lol.
