Chemistry is easily the worst subject a school could possibly force down a non chem majors throat.

The worst class colleges force down student's throats is all the social sciences you have to take as "general education". The reality is that those programs just need to boost their enrollment and egos, plus the more classes you have to take the more money the school makes.

Its a difficult class but very easy to pass, just put work and effort into it. Use all the sources available to you like khan academy and school tutoring.

My university makes it mandatory class for a lot of majors. I am in it too and I will never use it for any class after. I hate the class and the fact that I will never use it again makes it hard to really concentrate on the class.

I assume you guys are just talking about Gen. Chem 1 or 2 (Since OP is obviously in Gen. Chem 1 or Intro to Chem.). Organic is night and days more difficult to understand then the Gen. Chems. Then P.Chem, well, its just terrible.
