Please help! PSMF help.
Hello!
I need to drop 10 pounds of body fat before Christmas. I have gained about 30 lbs since September and have NO clothes to wear! So, I am running a PSMF.
Here is the plan:
Current weight 132.0
Bodyfat-guess 25% or so
b-5 eggwhites
s1-can of tuna
l-4 oz.chicken
s2-can of tuna
d-4 oz. chicken
with a handful veggies at each meal
EFA's
Magnesium and Calcium
1 gallon of water
I am going to do 3 full body workouts and daily LISS cardio-brisk walking about 45 min. at 4.0 or so. Critique or suggestions? Will I lose 10 lbs? I need to fit in my clothes!!!!!

Didn't you just crash-diet about 3-4 months ago?

If you really want to lose 10lbs in 25 days at your weight, just know that you're gonna be losing muscle too. You would need to eat at a 1400cal deficit daily, which at your size and bf I'm guessing is about 600 cals per day. So no I don't think your goal is realistic and actually sounds like a really stupid idea.

Yes, I did crash diet-got to 11% bodyfat and 102 and then was forced into treatment for anorexia in which I was refed. I have now gained 30 lbs and it is all fat. I train 3 days a week with a trainer now, so I figure the PSMF will be effective again, especially since my body can handle more now. Instead of lecturing me, why don't you help me? Gaining over 15 percent body fat in a few months is absolutely traumatizing, so be kind. I am not looking to be back to where I was, just to fit into some of my clothes.

Treated for anorexia and now you want to go back to PSMF? What makes you think you won't be able to gain the weight back again?
Realistically, it's not going to work. What have you been wearing up until now?

Nobody in their right mind thought you doing a psmf back then was a good idea. And then the terms "haters" got thrown out, by yourself.
And nobody in their right mind is going to think a psmf is appropriate for you now.
How about a normal diet, non-miraculous diet?

That would be great, but I don't have enough time as is.

I wasn't lecturing you I was just telling you how horrible of an idea this is by pointing out the flaws. PSMF was meant for extremely obese people which you are not, but hey do what you want you're a big girl just don't expect this to be a good long-term solution.

also, not very familiar with bodyfat percentages for females but isn't 25% about average? Also, I just searched up Protein Sparing Modified Fast and even for people who have sufficient mass, I still wouldn't think it was a good idea.
My gut tells me that it was probably designed for really obese people who wanted to strip as much fat as possible so that their health risks would go down. I remember my uncle's really fat friend did something like this a couple years back, not super fit, but way better than before, probably added 20 years to his life.
Also, haven't you learned from the story of the tortoise and the hare?? Slow and Steady wins the race. it's a marathon, not a sprint.
