I'm pretty sure someone is going to neg me or punch me through the screen but I have a question about CBL (Carb back loading).
I have the book, I've read the book and yes it doesn't seem to hard to follow. For anyone who has the book and wants proof ask me something specific on a certian page and I will PM you so that folks believe me. Now my question is I work midnight shift. I have worked midnights for 5 plus years. I will post my schedule below.
Work--2200 till 0630
I get off of work and If I do not have court Im home in bed by 0830 and sleep till about 1530.
I wake up, walk to bus stop and pick my kids up, return home and have some coffee and can hit the gym around 1700 or 1800.
Now my question and I dont want to put to much information out about the book since its a mircale I was able to obtain it due to my lack of funds (child support, family, kids, etc) Since I sleep most of the day and Im training at 1800 hours should I train fasted and then start slamming carbs after I get done training??? I pack my meals and bring them to work so I was wondering should I just train fasted minus some BCAA's and maybe 10 to 20 grams of whey?
I ask because I have trained fasted in the past but wasnt getting enough carbs in meaning I tried to get 400 plus grams of carbs in while eating clean which was tough. Now lets say Im getting more then enough carbs in and I stop eating around 0330 or 0400 hours ( remember I work mids) should I just train fasted and start slamming carbs after lifting?? I have a eating window of 1900 hours till about 0330 hours.
Now If I have court in the mornings after work I just bring some BCAA's and sip on it because I dont want to continue to eat. I use to do that and got way to fat because I was always eating. I hope someone understands all this. If someone wants to PM me and speak that way its fine. And MODS of this section I know you closed the thread about CBLing but not many people work mids with the chance of having to be awake in the morning after work. Thanks guys.
Wanted to add that I hired Josh Bryant aka Josh Strength method so if anyone is curious about my training. I train from what Josh Bryant wrote up for me. Not spamming just advising what my program looks like.

Your question is clearly answered in the book and in the cbl thread that is now linked in the sticky above. You basically train in your morning.
