Just because the people show up on your chat thing doesn't necessarily mean this isn't legit... ******** could be putting them there because they visit your profile often. Cause there were definitely some WTF names that popped up for mine that I definitely haven't talked to in a long time.

someone should conduct an experiment, and report their findings. Find a friend who passed away (or a fellow miscer who wants to participate) Visit their profile everyday and send them messages everyday, and instruct them to not view your profile/messages. See if they show up higher on my list.

They have an algorithm and for whatever reason they think you're interested in these people. It's not a perfect system, it's just a computer program that gives good results for most people.
