Beginner lifter here. December 1st will be 3 months training.
I started out at 115 and probably around 10-13 percent body fat. I took my shirt off and took a pic for the 1st time just to see if I had any results and to my surprise I looked flabby as hell in the gut and chest.
My arms and shoulders seem to have made some small gains but overall with a shirt off I overall look worse than I did before I started training. With clothes on however I look better so it's frustrating.
My diet while not perfect these last few months, wasn't awful either. I don't stuff my face with fast food barely at all and don't drink anything besides water and sometime orange juice.
I'm planning on cutting and leaning out and basically starting over with a strict diet but it just seems crazy to me that I am only 130 pounds and still very underweight and have to cut.
Cliffs
- Started out 5'8 115 low BF% before lifting
- 3 months into training trying to gain weight and muscle put on 15 pounds but body fat is now in the low 20's
- look terrible with shirt off, flabby chest and stomach
- planning on cutting and basically starting fresh with a strict diet and lifting.

Yea guys it does seem like my genetics are pretty rough.
I have been bone skinny my whole life, try to make a positive change and then this happens. But it is all 100% true sadly.
My diet when trying to gain weight is a lot of peanut butter sandwiches, white rice, yogurt, cereal, and whatever is for dinner that day. Never eat too much junk food or snacks really.

"Because society has pushed them into corners, forcing them to believe they are losers When in fact everyone has so much potential to achieve such magic and wonder, but as I alluded it to they are continually told they cant do it/they'll fail, so they start believing it The truth is: there's no such thing as a "loser" its just a label to make people feel bad"
