I took an interest in fitness about 5 months back, and I have added a lot of toned muscle. Visible to people. My bf has not worked out in a while and is getting soft. Has anyone had experience with this?

My husband got me into bodybuilding and lifting heavy. Then he stopped going lol... too much work and not enough time.
For 8-9 months I went to the gym 5-6 days a week by myself for 1-2 hours every week never missed a day. Finally he got a new job in October and is back it again with me.
We LOVE it. I didn't mind him being soft, or skinny fat [poor guy was 6ft 2in and probably weighing in at 165-170 maybe even less by the time he was done wandering the mountains for a month during sheep season] but I won't lie.... Him at 190 and lifting heavy and bulking up is pretty awesome. He was really big but lean and cut when we met and seriously his physique made me drool, kiiiind of excited to see it coming back :P
As far as me being more in shape and toned than him for about 6 months before he came back... He loved it and it bothered neither of us.
He's probably the only person in either side of the family that supports my gym habit... so he's a keeper regardless of his own gym habits.█ ♥ █ ***Canadian Crew***

My hubby and I joined the gym together. It will be one year in January. I have dropped 30 pounds and he has stepped foot maybe 10 ten times. He finally just quit realizing he was wasting his money. He complains about being overweight all the time but isn't willing to put the work in to change that. I'm happy with my new lifestyle but I know I can't persuade him to jump on board.

When I first started dating my past girlfriend I was more fit than her. I got her motivated to do something about it and she began to pick up running again and actually trie din Cross Country. I later then stopped weight training and running and pretty much everything. She ended up becoming more tone than I was and I became soft.
Not a single **** was given that day. But She did end up convincing my ass to hit the gym after we broke up. We're still friends.I'm an angry person, I have anger problems, I take it out on the weights.

Yep ... but this is a massive problem for me. He used to train...... now he doesnt even eat , let alone go to the gym. He has an all or nothing personality, give 100% effort or zero. Now with 2 yrs no gym (6 yrs together) i start to resent him... its not the person i thought he was!!! He gets pissed too , when i say look at me, or ask about his opinion of my progress. weird 1 ....
Do you really think this arse came out of a vending machine ??? I kid you not

my current boyfriend, he full on told me he will never step into a gym, but he is fit, he even wants to eat more but i like the way he is . he doesnt even care if i wanna get lean or whatever he said as long as im happy with my body. lol.
