    Offseason cutting

    Im 177 20% bf now, gained 12 lbs over football season, now im trying to get to 165 8-10% bf.
    5'9
    starting middle linebacker, starting running back
    I am aiming to be at least 2nd string next year varsity, so im very motovated and im putting a lot into it. Ill log my improvements, share my findings, etc.
    if you have any tips or suggestions, feel free to let me know.

    lift big and eat big. These are prime growing years, dont starve yourself! You'd be better off coming in next year as 190 lb linebacker than one 25 lbs lighter.

    If you're allowing yourself to get to 20% BF, then we gotta look at that diet.

    You're better off bulking in the off season my friend. I would try to put on at least an extra 10 lbs going into next season. You won't regret it.
