A few years ago when Farley and I used to battle much more frequently and fiercely and before most ranters had a clue about his style, (we knew each other previously from WPs), I told him something along the lines of he's a great poster as long as he never posts in here about football or bodybuilding. Still brings me some lulz when I think about that. That's all. Enjoy the rest of the show.

I actually watched that movie last night, well before this discussion started: [cue Twilight Zone theme -- do doo do doo do doo do doo] Causal/Correlation relationships notwithstanding. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (R. Gere was a putz, very fallible premises throughout the whole flick -- Real Cassius would've taken out "the Kid" or not bothered w/ the other ex-Soviet agents.)

No worries. Nothing in that list would make it into a real conversation -- like the kind you have with "Bob" at the local pub. Maybe "browbeat". Most of it is for formal addresses, scholastic debates, funeral condolences, Presidential TV adverts, and ... well ... in my case, the Ex from Poznan wanted to know about "compartmentalization" (whilst she was screwing my best friend). I told her to look up: "irony".

Never heard of either of those places. What location?
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The premise was that he hated the Russians more than the kid, due to what they did to him/his family. Plus, the Russians were the last ties to his former life; he was perfectly content being a retired US citizen. He was hoping the kid would drop it and just walk away (since he was no longer the stone cold assassin he once was, so he was reluctant to wipe out a - seemingly innocent - family man (well he was about to take him out until he realized he had a family).
edit: Because of this brief exchange, I do believe I shall watch The Double right now. Work ain't so bad.
lol
I could see disingenuous being in a conversation. But more of a debate style conversation, not your typical bar convo (well... it could be in the bar.. .drunk people debate the stupidest things, such as politics).-

I'm not a huge fan of buying books in actual stores, due to the prices usually being all jacked up compared to Amazon, but Barnes & Noble has one awesome exclusive -- their entire leatherbound classics series.
For less than $250, I was able to snag leatherbound collections by H.P. Lovecraft ("The Complete Fiction"), Isaac Asimov (The Foundation Trilogy), Ray Bradbury (Martian Chronicles, Illustrated Man, Golden Apples of the Sun), H.G. Wells (7 different novels), Ernest Hemingway (The Sun Also Rises, For Whom the Bell Tolls, A Farewell to Arms, Old Man & the Sea), Jane Austen (7 different novels), Homer's Iliad & Odyssey, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Complete Sherlock Holmes," Grimm's "Complete Fairy Tales," "The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe," and "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare."
I feel the need to get a cigar, some good scotch, and do nothing but catch up on some classic literature for a weekend.

Managed to somehow catch the winter AIDS this week, took almost 2 shots' worth of nyquil each night before bed, knocked that plague out right quick. Feelin' good today.

I've always wondered how one would go about making their own beef jerky. Do you care to enlighten me on the process, or are you just going to tell me to fuck myself like everyone else?
I'm excited for you. Make sure you pepper your angus.

You are welcome.
