Baseball is the worst sport for team's fans to become attached to a player.
If I weren't already entrenched as a Cards fan I could see myself getting behind the Giants, especially now that I'm on the west coast. I rooted for them once they got past the Cards in the NLCS.

Going by google searches, it seems to be a relatively common thing, but how people are fixing it, I don't know. I found one fix for the Mac version of Office. Although it involved the guy uninstalling outlook and using a different program. But the mac version, it had to do with a process that involved syncing the calendar of outlook.

I guess that stuff might distract you from the fact it's the last year with the V8 engine which is still a far cry from those beautiful V10s. Turbo sixes in 2014... the sport is going down the shïtter.
Pretty soon they'll be driving cars that sound like Civics with a fart cannon.

You guys don't get a enough sleep. That's rich.
I got three hours of uninterupted time in bed last night (well, this morning, 8-11), which is the longest such event in the past 8 days

1.6L twin-turbo V6. Not looking forward to the sound of them.
Averaging about 5 hours this past week. Not enough when you train 4x a week.

I've used lenco's youtube video thing 2 of the last 3 nights. I like it. I wake up more often throughout the night, but I feel more rested. We'll see if that trend continues (the two nights I've used it, I've slept 10 and 12 hours, due to lack of sleep and/or dragging from previous days).

lol I keep forgetting you just had a kid. We know you got it bad more than anyone at the moment.
I went from sleeping on a crappy sofa bed for the longest time ever to sleeping on a comfy bed with comfy pillows. Oddly enough, it didn't really increase my sleep quality. I could be on the most comfortable sleeping apparatus in the world, but if my mind is sprinting a bazillion miles an hour, it wouldn't make a difference.
I actually listened to that sh*t for a few minutes last night while browsing the internet. I freaked the fuk out right after I stopped the audio because I wasn't expecting that ringing in my ears. I thought I was tripping balls, bro.
Yeah, the off time from the holidays did it for me. I think getting back into the 9-5 groove and maybe possibly getting in a few workouts for this year should right things up a bit.ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I tried the book reading one once and it threw me off. Not sure if it was good or bad, but it was definitely different. I need to give it another shot.
But I think I'm digging the sleeping one. I tend to wake up like every 1.5 hours (about the same time as the sleep cycles), so I will either roll back over and immediately fall asleep, or I'll get up and pee and then lay back down to immediately fall asleep. I can say though, with it playing, I fall asleep fast.

Check this out:
http://scarbsf1.com/blog1/2012/06/08...014-f1-engine/
Completely unrelated to the technical side of the new regulations, is the Fans concern that the engines won’t sound very good. This is based around view that the engines have a relatively small capacity and additionally have the muffling effect of a turbo charger. This format being akin the WRC engines which do not have a pleasing engine note. But this disregards the F1 engines open exhaust, higher RPM and the aggressive use of the turbocharger itself.
Every engineer I’ve spoken to about the exhaust note has said they will sound good. Okay they are not going to be the same glorious sound of a V12, but they will be far from the dull sound of other small capacity turbocharged racing engines. I recall the sound of the original 1.5l turbo engines from the eighties; they revved far lower than the 2014 engine and still sounded loud and exciting.
Speaking to Auto123.com Gilles Simon commented on the engines sound “The sound of the V6 engine will of course be different. It’ll probably be a bit lower, but I really don’t think it’ll be unexciting for all that. The big turbine will be making a lot of noise, whistling really loudly. No, I the new cars won’t be boring at all”.
