Most cleaning product commercials seem to include women (and only women) in contentious competition over how clean each other's houses are.

Is this something that really happens in the real world? Do women care how smudgy each other's windows are? How pristine their dishes look? Then proceed to viciously judge/demean one another over the gamut?

To be honest, I feel it's insulting on several levels. First, it relegates clean living and generally not being a dirty-disgusting-fuck as part of a solely female disposition.

Are men on their own living with feces on their windows? Fungus on their dishes? No.

Second, it further perpetuates the societal repression of both genders into archaic provisions. Women don't exist merely to get grease off the pans. Men aren't completely uncivilized and handicapped logically as to being walking germ farms only useful in hammering something in.

I'm just saying folks. Let's evolve.

We got about 6 inches on the 26th, and probably another 4 last night. It's snowing right now too. Driving home at 3 am in a snowstorm, not fun.
