They've been trying to get a CF and true leadoff guy for a while, so this should solve those issues. Span is younger than Bourn, who was the main other guy in the convo. Not sure what it means for LaRoche, though. Morse will prob be moved to first, Harper to LF or RF. Unless they resign LaRoche and trade morse. Guess we'll see.

Oh snap, I just had a wonderful revelation.

First, the End of the World party is on the 21st of this month. The Mayans, in their infinite wisdom, scheduled that on a Friday. Awesome of them. But then I was wondering. Is the world ending at Midnight that night? So 12:01am Saturday the 22nd = gone?

If so, that is only a few hours of partying on Friday night, which seems pointless. SO then I was like... sh*t, maybe I should tear it up throughout all of Friday. Make it a day drinking party to naturally end at midnight when the world goes? But then I was like... oh snap! THis is the last day to party ever, so gotta get it in.

Fatality Friday!!! Starting at 12:01am Friday until midnight that night. Midnight to midnight drinking baby!! It would be much easier than 6am to 6am, since you won't be drinking your last 10 hours or so at night, which sucks hard core. I'd just have to find a few friends who are off work that day and get some 40s for Edward Fortyhands, since that is apparently a must for me while doing Marathon Monday variations (e.g., Suicide Saturday or Sunday and now Fatality Friday).

Oh yes!! I am all sorts of giddy thinking about this!!!

It's true that this island was a dumping ground for the worst British convicts and was supposed to be a terrible place to live. But the joint is surrounded by beautiful beaches and there's plenty of sunshine, something they never see over there, so I guess the joke was on them.

On a serious note, spiders don't concern me – snakes do. Being hours from civilization and being bitten by a deadly snake is a very real possibility.

Don't. I tried putting protein in coffee. It's not good. Unless you plan on blending it into the coffee, don't bother. I also found that certain kinds of protein taste ok when mixed with oatmeal, and certain kinds taste awful when mixed with it.
