WTF? Some crappy pop song TAAB would listen to gets pulled because the chorus has 'die young' in it.
Just prior to the mass shooting last Friday, Die Young was the third most played song in the US, reaching 167 million listeners.
By Monday, more than 19 million people had tuned out of the single, according to figures from ratings tracker Media Base.
It has now been taken off the airwaves altogether.
"Looking for some trouble tonight
Take my hand, I'll show you the wild, side
Like it's the last night of our lives
We'll keep dancing till we die
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young"
The world has gone mad.

There are probably dozens in this thread alone, but can all of you personal trainers that moonlight as neurologists help this guy out?

I discovered fitness as a career almost 4 years ago. Since then, I've learned that fitness and wellness will be my life's work.
How badly do I need to find a new job in this field when my current situation is actually making me consider going back to a typical 8-5 just because I'm SO FUCKING UNHAPPY with what I'm doing? Oy.

Careful, it would hear you coming.
But more to the point: Badly. We're the same age, and I'd guess we've both experienced the same thing you're feeling now. My only advice FWIW is to identify ways to move forward towards a new thing, even if it's outside your comfort zone, and then start working towards that. But while you're doing that you just need to grin and bear it with what you're doing now. Once you get on a path towards change and you see progress things will start falling into place. As they say: How do you eat an elephant?
Don't try to change everything all at once.

100 pound dog has explosive diarrhea. Had it all day, seemingly, while we were both at work.
This carpet will never be the same. Steam cleaners coming. Planning for a nice wood floor instead of carpet.

It'll be laminate. Don't know when, but that's actually what it will be. And going forward our preference is for tile/laminate/hardwoord in those common areas, like you say, with carpet reserved for bedrooms.
That's pretty safe. Like now, the bedrooms are blocked off by a baby gate while we are gone and when we are home we can either let them outside when they ask or, if we are asleep and they don't wake us up, they at least go in the other room where are not present. Soooo these things don't happen in the bedroom

Yeah real wood would be awesome... but a lot more expensive and requires more upkeep and care.
I want heated floors in my next place. THAT is dope. Walking around in your kitchen/etc with bare feet and the floor is warm. Aww yeah. (prolly more cool if you live in Alaska)All Hail the Ultimate Master, "I Know More Than The Generals Do", Donald Camacho Dr. Pepper X-Ray AR-15 Trump

My thoughts exactly. 2012 has not been a good year for me at all in my career and personal life. I almost want a do-over... but I did manage to really get a leash on binge eating, smoking, drinking caffiene/booze, etc. It's really all up to me to make the next changes in 2013 to make something a little more meaningful out of my life, but it's really hard to make the choice to walk away and do something that pays less just for some peace of mind.
