If I had multiple rifles I would seriously consider selling one for a big 'profit', like I am with magazines. Mags are the only thing I have enough of to sell a few, though, and I of course still plan to end up with more than I started with

I know that feel. My walmart looked the same. I was forced to buy ammo at the range for $4 a box(100 rnd) more than walmart.

On the plus side, I know a couple guys who run a very badass but small gunshop packed wall to wall with AR-15's, they've been closed during the whole panic fiasco, and they've told me they will have plenty of ARs in stock when they re-open on the 2nd. Their prices were decent beforehand, so we'll see what happens.

Once he locates a store that has what I need in stock he gives me a call. I then get my ass up at 7am wait at the counter until someone will sell me what I want. I had the MOD tell me this morning there was a 5 box limit. So I called my brother n law and let him speak to the Manager. After a brief phone call I was allowed to buy what ever I wanted. I wasn't being greedy I only needed 500 rounds of .223 and they had 2K

I've ACR'd twice now and would do it again if I found another at a reasonable price.

1st one cost me $1,700.00 NIB
2nd bought it used for 1,400.00 shot the **** out of it (8K rounds in 6-8 months) and they sold it to my little brother for $1,400.00

I think a ban probably won't happen, otherwise I would:

1. Sell after legislation passes, but before it goes into effect, if legislation did not allow transfers. HUGE money would be had there.
2. Sell once the ban began, if it was like the '94 ban.
3. Just plain hold so that I have them.
4. Try to sell them now, but only for mega bucks.


If I was certain there would be no ban, I'd sell them right now for $20-$25 and just wait for my backordered mags to replace them (keeping 6 or so for use until then, of course)



Since I cannot be certain of either, I am going with an in between option, and only offering 3-4 max, so that if I really called it wrong and there IS a ban I'll be left with enough to get by




If I only had a few magazines at the moment I would be buying 2 or 3 of them, instead of selling
