Court strikes down Illinois concealed carry lawBy By DON BABWIN,
Associated Press –*15 minutes ago**SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) —

In a big victory for gun rights advocates, a federal appeals court on Tuesday struck down a ban on carrying concealed weapons in Illinois — the only remaining state where carrying concealed weapons is entirely illegal.

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals said state lawmakers have 180 days to write a new law that legalizes concealed carry.

Retired LEO's that are covered under LEOSA can carry almost anywhere that current LEOs can.
Illinois has their own standards to certify the Retired LEO's (and of course it's a little more stringent than most) but it exists nonetheless.

That was an interesting read on Yeager. I'd seen that video before and didn't know that was him in it. Don't think he's a coward for getting away from the bullet magnet, I'd find cover if I was taking fire, either by the engine or on the ground if there was something nearby. Sounds like it was a clusterfuk and they also weren't sure where the fire was coming from. Still, he seems to be a douche for making some unprofessional assumptions about what his coworkers did, especially for shifting blame onto other people.

Any other e-famous operators out there? I'm already aware of Travis Haley's video taking out mofos like a badass from a rooftop position.

Here's the other rub with AK's...decent mags (not Tapco, etc.) are $25-$40 each. Magpul PMags are going for less than $11 for AR's.

I like them all...but if I've got to go to trouble, that Big BCM/LMT AR I posted is going with me...and lots of my friends.

the mags for 7.62x39 are still okay priced if you get steel
the 5.45 mags are expensive as fuk though

not sure ill get an ak because of how the prices are currently. i think i'll just buy some ar parts or something.
liking the idea of an a4/a5/sam-r type build, will probably do that. the wilson barrel i picked up is pretty heavy and it is only medium contour with 18" length, so i'm thinking if i did another ar build it is going to be a govt profile barrel so i'm keeping my eyes open on psa for the fn 20" chf barrel to come back

edit: lol there go the bcm bcg's again. i guess you have to resubscribe for the email every time they go back in stock?

Not to mention, where the hell can you find an AR for $549?! The WASR 10/63 is a great AK.

I just bought one off the EE, for $550, I should have it by the weekend. I'll post pics when I get it.

I submitted an order with BCM (BCG for myself, BCG for my dad, and some misc bolt components) 4 minutes before the in stock email went out.

I just camped the website and refreshed the page ever 30-60 seconds from 5:45-6:00...they went back in stock on the website like 5 minutes before the email's timestamp.

They were showing out of stock within <10 minutes of the email.

i've only seen the ak74 mags for like 35-40 for the good ones (circle ##s)
otherwise i'd be all over one of the parts kit builds on classic firearms that are like 600$

the tapco ones are cheap but i was under the impression that they weren't very good due to no lip reinforcement or something
if you know of good ones for cheap pls aware me

Pretty much what I did to get mine, too. If you wait for the email I think they are already long gone.
