    Expected strength gains for clean bulking?

    Well basically my questions is how much strength should i expect to gain from Bench, Squat and Deadlift per month (or per week if it can be calculated.) while clean bulking? The reason why i want to know is so i can set a goal and if i fail then i know i'm not pushing hard enough or my workout routine is junk. Also is it weird that my weight was stuck at 153 pounds for a month and then suddenly went to 155.5? I weighed myself once a week on the same day and same time and every week for that month i was stuck at 153. Then just this week i suddenly jumped to 155.5 my diet was exactly the same everyday.

    2.984759087439857423987598230 lbs exactly. I just crunched the numbers. Also if you want to get strong you gotta bulk to 30% body fat. Good luck

    You can expect the same amount of strength gains from a not so clean bulk. The extra energy you have to move the weight doesn't know whether or not you're eating clean or not. If you're eating an excess of calories and busting ass in the gym...you should get stronger. The pace at which your stength gains increase depends on how many times you've gone through the process and how many extra calories you're consuming.

    You should add weight to the bar every session until you can't, then try to add every week until you can't, then every month, and then every year. Those are reasonable goals as long as your weight is increasing.

    Not at all.

    Mass isn't added in a linear fashion, and any number of factors may have been at work to cause your weight to plateau for a while and then 'suddenly' bump up.

    Just stick to your training/nutrition program no matter what. When your individual genetics determine it's time to add some muscle, it'll happen (as long as the raw materials with which to do so are present in sufficient quantity).

    You can gain tons of strength in a cut, so yes you will have good gains on a clean bulk..
