Srs. I can tell you from personal experience that they are awesome. Very energetic and high maintenance, but if you can keep up with them you will never look back.

German shepherds are cool too, don't know as much about them though. If you want a guard dog, you are going to want the gsd for sure. Huskies are actually not aggressive at all.





















There are also wolf hybrids in case you are interested.

Don't get a wolf hybrid. Not unless you have a lot of experience with dogs.

Im sure you already know a dog is huge responsibility, but keep in mind huskies and german sheppards are high maintenance as ****, they need a lot of exercise.

German shepards are good dogs. I have been bit by one before, luckily it was just my ankle and it was my friend's so they got her off me quickly.

^ This. They're very unpredictable. They could be friends one min with a cat or a dog and then the next trying to kill it from prey drive. Here in Ohio were I live there was about 2-3 hybrid wolfs that a guy owned and he also owned a little dog. He forgot to feed them for the day and came running to screams from one of his dogs. It was his little dog screaming as the wolfs were killing it because they were so hungry. Unless you know a lot about wolfs with having studied them for a very long time and can read all of their signs they're not a dog that an average joe should own.

Please only get a German Shepard if you are willing to spend a lot of time teaching it. I use to have a German Shepard when I was like 5, my asian parents didn't teach it properly and it bit another dog, he had to be put down.

If you don't have time get the Labrador Retriever.
