    Exclamation When is the best time of the day to eat peanut butter?

    I usually have been eating peanut butter after a workout with my protein shake, but i am stoping that. Is it bad or would i have slower results to eat peanut butter at 9:30 A.M.? When should i be eating it or even at all?

    Eat it when you're hungry and in the mood for peanut butter. Do not eat it if you don't like the taste and/or if you're allergic.

    Way back when, I was told PB was a good night time snack as it was anti-catabolic. The fats slow digestion, keeping muscles safe.

    Also, since fat slows digestion, it aint good after workout when you want protein hitting your system fast.

    Broscience or not?

    Seems like half the stuff I learned here years ago should be tossed out the window...
