Okay so here's my story: I work at a gym and have recently been through rough times that have made me want to turn my life around, especially fitness-wise. I have decided to compete (first one is in May), and possibly do fitness modeling as well. I do have a nutritionist, I just need advice on training and overall critique on my journey.
Feel free to be hard on me, as long as you're honest. I know I have a long way to go but trust me, Ill get there.
Notes on pictures: (1) ignore my weird shorts in the first one.. (2) i know i need to work on my poses, but this is all i have right now, so it'll have to do.
Thanks
To me you look fantastic! Basically, your body type is what I'm on the long road working for!
Thank you guys for all of the advice and compliments! And of course laughs at the comments about my tits (i dont need them to be confident in my body thank you :P). I will definitely be working on building up mass. I will be increasing my protein and calorie intake, as well as amping up my work out to include heavier weighted sets. Im also starting to take amino acid supplements so that should help in some way overall. With cardio I think Im going to stick with the ones my nutritionist recommended (30 minute interval sessions and a lot of uphill sprints for my butt). Hopefully that will also help tone up my legs as well.
Legs are wonderfully sore after yesterdays work out and I killed shoulders and bis today so Im working my way there. You guys keep me motivated, thanks.

You want me to be hard on you?
You need more mass. You need to stay in a caloric surplus (your protein intake sounds about right) and progressively overload your muscles with increasing resistance. You need to do it most on your legs and back but you need to do it everywhere. Cardio has absolutely NOTHING to do with definition. Limit your cardio as it will likely hinder your muscle gains.
BTW.. You're very pretty and you have an excellent figure (I like petite personally) but to compete... Gain quality muscle.. Then maybe you will need to do a very quick fat reduction phase to bring out the definition of your newly earned size.
broscience. love it. my cardio im going to limit it to 30 min probably a session and keep it uphill that way it can work on my butt more.
And i really like the idea of gaining muscle and then doing the fat reduction towards the end.
still have a long way to go but you guys just motivate me more to keep on track with my goals.

And you can do it for sure! The fact that you're on here shows that you care and have that spirit it takes to get where you want to be. If you need ANY advice or help or just plain motivation, I got you, girl.
And I think I will post my routine on here and see about getting some advice with that. It will have to be later today (idk why im still up...) or tomorrow as i need to be studying for my finals coming up too.
This btw is my desktop background and has been my goal before i decided to compete. Thought id post a little of my motivation on here lol.
Mainly just her back, glutes, and abs i love.
Also, someone was telling me about this one bikini competition they went to where this one chick won as soon as the judges turned around and saw her ass. So my goal is awesome body and great (big) ass. Guess Im upping the squats more and lunges.
Holy crap!! She looks incredible! I might make that my desktop as well!

Your thin but still have muscle it just is hard to separate one muscle from another. If you haven't already Id take a creatine supplement, probably monohydrate but maybe a blend, to tighten everything for competition. That will give some striation in your muscle and make everything pop out at the judges.
3/10-15 single arm lat pull downs
3/10-15 single arm rows
3/8-12 of 2 different row machines at 2 different angles
3/15 w/10 lb weight hyper-extensions and hold it 30 sec without weight at end of each set
3/10-15 v-bar pull downs
3/10-15 assisted pull-ups (I have yet been able to do more that 2 pullups on my own)
also any motivation would be awesome right now. hellish week and a lot of things will be changing (for the better).

I'd simplify that greatly...
A vertical pull from the ground, a horizontal pull and, a vertical pull from above is all that's needed fr most beginner to intermediate trainees.
Deadlift (conventional or sumo), free weight bent over row variant (DB, BB, T-Bar), pull up/neutral grip/chin-up/pull down.
So my goal is awesome body and great (big) ass. Guess Im upping the squats more and lunges.[/QUOTE]
This. Not an expert on female training but the really advanced women that compete at my gym spend probably 50% of there time on squats, lunges, and kickbacks. Your butt would be great for just going to the beach now, but in bikini or figure fitness it is going to need more mass. And although he sounds like a dick that one guy makes a point about the implants. There almost standard in competition these days. That being said I wouldn't do it or recommend it to anybody. It may cost you a competition, but at the end of the day you'll look better and be safer and feel better.
You have a leg up in that your very cute and you can't train that so all other things being equal that will slant a close call in your favor. Good luck.

Thank you! I will try this routine out tomorrow and be looking for some awesome soreness.

Yeah Im going to have to up my level with the lunges and squats and such like theres no tomorrow. Im hoping that with the increased calorie intake (healthy of course), protein and my amino acid supplements that i will begin to show some awesome improvement in my mass everywhere.
About the implants: I understand that. you dont want to look like a dude up there and tits are attractive. attractive wins competitions. My bathing suit will definitely give me the APPEARANCE of bigger tits since i cannot afford implants. plus i have other things to waste my money on like a car bill, school, etc. and my bodybuilderfriend (who has competed on national levels and guest showed at competition i will be competing in) told be confidence is a huge part and thats how ill get over the tit disadvantage.
And thanks for the compliment. I would like to compete and hopefully win all-natural so i feel better in the end about myself.

Rep range is too high, don't be afraid to lift heavy. Other than that,
Thank you! I will try this routine out tomorrow and be looking for some awesome soreness.
Just for clarification.. I'd suggest just picking ONE of each direction of pull.
Something like:
Sumo deadlift (will help big time in that butt and hamstring development that you're after) 5x5,
Bent over DB Rows, unilateral, 3x8 for each side
Then maybe max pull-ups, max chin-ups, and 2 burnout sets of pulldowns to finish off.
