and the thing is, there might be bodybuilders with physiques as photo genetic as ronnie (phil e.g.) but ronnie would just blow them away on stage
I agree. You have someone like Jay, who in the past has been capable of the same effect on guys like Phil and Kai, and he was utterly dominated by Ronnie.
My mind struggles to comprehend Ronnie.

Ronnie's chest was gargantuan. That's one thing I always notice in the lineups- you could fit like 1 and 1/2 of everyone else's pecs in each of Big Ron's pecs. Yet somehow, his freakishly large pectoral plates did not seem out of place on his physique. It's like he went, "well, I got deez big ol' pecs... gonna have to make evythang else huge now."
