Fenugreek is a tricky one - hard to draw conclusions from different studies without having detailed information about the extraction process and standardization of the material: i.e. saponins by UV vs. dioscin vs. furostanol vs. 4-HI - all of which can impart different physiological benefits.
Regarding the Third Party tests, obviously Indus is doing pretty well with their products and IP on fenugreek, so nobody else is willing to invest the money after being second or third to market and trying to capture market share at the risk of a failed study.
Overall - I've taken Fenugreek containing products and had great benefits, from strength to sleep. Obviously some bloodwork on free T levels would be great to fortify why I feel those things, but haven't gone and done that.________________________________________________________________________

i bought the musclepharm zma recently and theres testofen in it. Does it really raise estrogen? if so i will stop taking it.

Any increase in testosterone will increase estrogen. By exactly how much is complicated and independent to the user.
That being said: you're fine. Estrogen isn't bad for us, we need it. Having too much is not the best idea, but no natural testosterone booster will raise estrogen to those types of levels.Psych & handcuffs

It's just Fenugreek: http://examine.com/supplements/Fenugreek/ - it had one study showing potential T increase, but has not been replicated.

There are a number of phyto-constituents found in fenugreek and not once in that link did they discuss fenuside extract, the compound that is in question to have an impact on test levels. Fenugreek as its entirety I have not seen or read any impact that it may have on test levels nor will have impact on glucose metabolism. Unless of course the compound 4-hydroxyisoleucine has been isolated. As a whole, I believe the only impact as an herb it will have is on the loosening of phlegm and to induce lactation for breast feeding mothers.

LH affects free testosterone! An Endocrinologist will confirm this.
If you see a Endocrinologist for low free testosterone you will do LABS for (FSH), (LH) levels, (high Prolactin), total testosterone and other tests will be administered.
These supplements may help: Tribulus Terrestris, Bryonia Laciniosa, DAA or D-Aspartic Acid and Vitex. First three can increase LH and FSH but their effect on GnRH is not yet clearly defined. Mucuna pruriens can also help since it contains L-DOPA which is converted into dopamine. Prolactin reduces GnRH but dopamine inhibits prolactin which raises GnRH.

DIM is a T booster. Since DIM promotes a more active metabolism of estrogen, unmetabolized estrogen levels fall and the 2-hydroxy-estrogens increase. The 2-hydroxy-estrogens possess the unique ability to displace testosterone from SHGB and set it free. Therefore, the combined effect of DIM to reduce unmetabolized estrogen and increase 2-hydroxy-estrogens can reduce elevations in SHGB and allow for more free testosterone.
DIM Avoids overactive testosterone metabolism, [clearing the testosterone too quickly] and reducing the conversion of testosterone into estrogen.

Maybe not increase T but Free T instead
I noticed there is skepticism regarding Testofen due to studies not showing increased T. But I thought it was supposed to increase Free T rather than T. I thought it works by reducing SHGB.
Am I wrong? Are there any studies that included measures of SHGB and/or Free T. It seem rather useless to measure Total T rather than Free T.

Test 600
I have used test 600 by PMD which contains 600mg of testefin for 4 months and I have seen results in physique, strength and T levels.
My levels went from 248 to 315 and my free levels went from 4 to 7.8.
I went from needing replacement treatment to not needing it.
I have now ordered all the ingredients in test 600 in separate supplement form to cut cost from 76 a month down to 40 a month.
I highly recommend testefin to anyone with lowT, its worth a try; replacement therapy seriously sucks.

Testofen doesn't do much for total testosterone. Testofen increases free testosterone which is what your body uses (2% of your total test)
It will help men with a high shbg level. Please do some reading. To many people and not enough knowledge
