    Powerlifts for size?

Right now I'm doing only powerlifts (bench press, deadlift, squats and EZ Curls), and I've been doing it for about 3 months. I've had noticeable gains, an I'm dedicated to powerlifting, but I also want size everywhere, in areas like shoulders, delts, traps, hams etc... So, should I do a day of isolated lifts for those areas?

Have you considered doing, oh...I don't know...anything even remotely resembling a reasonable program for a significant length of time?

That'd be "something written and designed by someone who knows what the hell they're doing," not, "something you came up with one morning in the shower."

That'd also be "for several years," not, "I finished a cycle of X. What should I do now?"

Have you also looked into this amazing new supplement called food? Everyone's doing it these days. Supposed to have great results.

You'll gain size from squatting, benching, & deadlifting. However if you call it powerlifting you start gaining mostly fat, it sucks. We're all fat here..

I didn't ask to be criticized, I asked if my idea would be a good one or not. I've lifted in the past, for two years, but I took a break this year due to school/personal issues, so I'd say that I'm more experienced then you think.

Then why are you asking us? YOU'VE GOT TWO WHOLE YEARS OF LIFTING EXPERIENCE!!! You're clearly an advanced lifter and don't need our input. Your complete lack of accessory work demonstrates your advanced training knowledge.

Was not aware EZ Curls is a powerlift. I'll have to start basing a day just around those immediately.

If you've trained for two years and weren't able to put on mass in your shoulders, tris, traps, and hamstrings, then you were doing something seriously wrong.

Thumbs wrapped or thumbless? Strict curl with your back against a wall or power curl using momentum?

You should leave a few strategically, as a warning to others.

It is by derp alone I set this thread in motion. It is by the reading of websites that thoughts acquire cruft, the lifts acquire overthinking, the overthinking becomes a warning. It is by derp alone I set this thread in motion.

To OP's credit, 100% Raw and ADAU merged and now contest the strict curl. Now we can all be powerlifting specialists three times a week on bench 'n curl day. Gone are the days of the fat powerlifter.
Excuses are just tools of incompetence
Used to build monuments of nothingness
And those who specialize in the uses
    Seldom achieve anything

Stick to a program and keep eating. I've put on some solid gains since I started from powerlifiting. Gone from about 130lbs to 200lbs.

Agreed. The other day I ate in a 1000 calorie deficit after my powerlifting and instantly turned some muscle into fat. I'll be strong in no time.

If I were you, I'd send Isaku900 a PM asking him for a Westside template. It's a great routine for lifters at your level.

So, should I do a day of isolated lifts for those areas?
But, are you strong for your strength?

In all seriousness add in some rows and overhead pressing if you want to hit some of those other areas.

Add some volume work after your main lifts.
