this^ 100% this... i LOL HARD at *******s who dump money on expensive vodka... the high priced vodka is better, but BARELY better... its such a small difference. If youre dishing out mad money on booze, spend it on tequila or scotch... the difference between a cheap tequila/scotch and an expensive tequila/scotch is HUGE...

also, who da fuk drinks vodka straight anyway? its more of a mixer or a "get drunk quick" drink, its the keystone light of hard booze....

buy cheap vodka, and save your money for real alcohol. I buy vadamir, $11 for a handle, my pregame is 4 shots in a shaker bottle mixed with diet coke, i drink that in the shower, goes down fine, and youre ready to go afterward

I prefer the Eastern European bison grass variety of vodka. It's generally cheaper (vodka consumption is crazy over there so dat der economies of scale) but of above average quality.

Russian Standard, Sobieski for me... haven't tried Tito's, Ciroc, Goose.

Used to just buy the cheap stuff thinking it's all the same... it's not. Russian, Sobieski are much better, smoother. Better than Smirnoff too which I used to drink 75% of the time.

Only a couple bucks more here in Ont., Canada. Totally worth it.

Cheap stuff/Smirnoff: about $23 for 750mL
Russian/Sobieski: $26 for 750mL
Tito's I think was about $27-28.
Goose is way more.

Just like some people can't taste the difference between Johnny Blue and Red, others can't taste the difference between Smirnoff and Grey Goose.

He is right. The difference in flavour between good and bad scotch/beer is staggering, whereas vodka, not so much. If you actually knew how vodka/gin was made you would realise why you are wrong.

From what I've been reading it's basically the same as Grey Goose. Same region and distillation techniques. but much cheaper

If you can buy a 5th to just try it out I suggest it. For the price the quality is amazing in my opinion. I have heard vodka drinkers tell me it was superior to Grey Goose.
