Neon Yellow Urine From Multivitamin??

IM takeing the gnc megaman multi twice a day. After i take em i piss like a neon yellow. I understand that its the nutrients within the vitamin. But how much actually stays in ur body?? Is it really worth takeing this??? Or am i just pissing most of it out?

It seems like everyone just pisses neon yellow from those, I know I did. It makes you wonder why the hell they even put in so much of everything, seems like it must just be taxing on your kidneys or whatever.

Btw I remember reading that vitamins sometiems make your pee kind of "glow" neon sorta like (makes sence right...?) so don't worry about it.

It is true. To be more specific it is because of B2, that you get the neon yellow pee.

Based on my Very unscientific test it IS the Vitamin B in the mulit Vit.

I normally take a Mulit, but I was out of town for a weekend and only had B Vits.

Same color as the muliti

try taking your multi with your shake or post-workout meal or pre w/o meal.

this is the only time i can take my multi without turning that dark yellow as your body will probably make the most out of everything it gets at this time.

if it still happens then look into the foods you're eating. you may be getting enough B's which is usually the culprit behind that deep yellow color.

Im sure it will be. When I used to take B-Complex I was peeing dark yellow. I dunno it if was that i was living in ketosis or if it was the vitamin. But I would take it and later Yellos all over.

Taking even a low dose of B vitamins will turn your pee yellow, so don't worry.

It will be the first time you urinate, but it will eventually go back to a more clear look (since your urine will be mostly water, by the 2nd or 3rd time of the day). It will be darker, the longer the amount of time between fluid ingestion and urination .. which is also why it's "darker" (well, yellow) right after waking - all those hours with no water intake to dilute it down to a clearer color.

Mind you, this is all emperical evidenece on my part, not scientific. I do try for a gallon or so of water a day (3-4 liters).

nope it wasnt, I have a good friend in school for nursing and she said that when taking vitamins if your pee is really yellow like that, the vitamins are pointless because you're just pissing them out and they dont have the water to run through your system. I've also heard that it is a sign of dehydration but then AGAIN I've also heard yellow piss means your pissing out the bad stuff....so I'm confused.

but if you drink an abnormal amount of water your pee wont be discolored like that.

My animal pak used to make my piss a neon yellow with a tint of like a green hahaha but once I started getting atleast a gallon of water down without sodas then my problem was solved.

Yeah, it is. I drink more water than I'm even supposed too (love me some green tea) and mine comes out neon sometimes too. But I do agree with the empty stomach thing, if I take it with breakfast it's not as noticeable.

I drink nearly 2 gallons of water a day and it has no affect on my neon pee. It's normal. I wish the bulb in my bathroom was a black light, I wonder if it glows.
