I used to hate how my laptop bag would dig into my shoulder. I bought one of these bags and I absolutely love it. Instead of all of the weight being on your back and shoulders it distributes it on your lower body. I barely even feel the same heavy laptop I carry around now. The company was started by a guy that had herniated disks and wanted a better way to lug his heavy backpack around.

You can take the straps off in literally 10 seconds and you've got a regular briefcase.

I keep it in fanny pack mode 24x7.

Who cares how it hangs off you or whether it's one strap or two? I've got backpacks, shoulder bags, duffel bags, and messenger bags. All for different purposes. I can't very well wear a backpack while I'm wearing my massive pea coat up here in the winter so I use a messenger bag.

It seems to me that every man has a purse. A murse (man's purse) some people call them.

Tablets, iPads, etc., are stored in them. I suppose I understand that. I have a big bag which carries my lunch, my book, my makeup bag and my wallet.

I remember the days when men carried briefcases, attachés, or a valise. I think a man could fit his tablet into a briefcase.

I'm not sure why this bothers me, but it does.

I'm not sure if you carry a man purse IRL or not but I'm guessing probably not.

If you're like me the wife knows if she hands me her purse to hold there's a better chance of it being hid behind the garbage can than me standing there holding it when she gets back..lol.

This has been an interesting thread for sure. I wonder if Lisa thought she was opening up a 5pg discussion? So what other accessories do we all think are too feminine? Can we use that word? The man code be a tricky beast.

I do have a murse. I thought it had handles when I ordered, but I guess I did not look close enough. It was a bit pricey, so I have gotten used to it. I can admit the strap feels weird, and I never put it over my neck. Its the strap that makes them look feminine. I finished university almost 20yrs ago now, and I put away the backpack unless I am, well, backpacking. When I go to the office I only carry my lunch and a couple other things, so I do not need a big honking gym bag. And as for some of the gaudy, nylon, buckles/belts everywhere crap I see, that just is not for this guy. I am very much so hetrosexual.

The leather one posted early on with handles that was being used for gun cartridges is probably the best one posted. A little large, but that one was pretty cool.
