Most I know of are religious constructions to impress people. Thus, they were a useless waste of time and energy, which says something about the culture that made them.
The only other reason who be if the culture was "fun" and enjoyed making pretty and impressive things, like the Greeks and Romans did.

That's a legit theory I've heard and I believe it true for religion too.
It's a fact that Native Americans were from China over 12K years ago and so they and all the European types were supposed to be living in Russia, so everyone was pretty close together at some ancient point in time.
The Chinese moved into North America, the Euros moved down into India (Hinduism is likely Lithuanian), they moved into the mideast, and across Europe. So, you've got all of these people who were from roughly the same place building the same kind of things, believing in sky gods, etc.
Pretty easy to understand.

No that link is about now.
If you look up the ancient religion of Lithuania the gods are much like those in Hinduism. In ancient times Eastern Europeans invaded India and subjugated the Australoids (Dravidians) living there. They invented the caste system based on their religion to oppress the blacks.
If you're familiar, you'll know that most of the Hindu gods are white and the Buddha was described as having black hair and blue eyes. Thus, it makes sense that a religion from Eastern Europe with the same ancient characters was the forerunner.

Egyptians weren't Africans.
If you look at the ancient, like 5k old, statues they were white people. The Sumerian statues, which are older, frequently had blue eyes and the head shape of white people, because they were.
However, white people are someone insane and stupid, in my opinion, and we still are today. Only white people would waste time and energy building giant useless structure to "gods" which don't exist. White people believe this crap, believe in "money" (we don't have enough [money is not real]), believe in wasting time on wacky "science", traveling in space, and so on.
Mexicans are Native Americans, who were ancient Chinese people, and somehow they got into the insane religious stuff too, which is interesting and not typical.

Osmanagic is actually a pretty smart guy. I been to one of his lectures, he blew my mind on many things. I proved that the pyramids of today were not built for pharaohs but for other purposes such as the capturing energy fields that exist throughout the earth. He also talked about how people couldn't have possibly built the pyramids we see today.
But that on the side, I don't really believe there are pyramids there. I been there myself. Visoko is a 20 min drive away.
