Is it too late to get in on this ?????
Yes I know I am fat and weak. I'm working on it.
I REP BACK.
Everyone at BB constantly preaches meal timing is irrelevant. Then they religiously take a whey shake post-workout just to prove it.
Ketosis: Because initiating lipolysis during a cut is obviously a terrible thing.
Primal eating: Because cutting out processed foods is obviously a terrible thing.

LINK to SHEET
Just posting the link to sheet for updates. I think I have everyone who posted or PM'd me in their updates and several participants even updated their own number, Thanks!
New Link Dec1-Mar1-Tracker
Looking at the numbers I think we may have some people loosing a bit too fast... 4-5 and even 6 pounds per week average over 3 weeks. Maybe adjust your numbers if weight loss isn't tapering off to 1-2 lbs per week. I think that is the widely stated as healthy average target (or maybe it's just more bro-science). Although I think it's common if just starting out to loose more for first couple of weeks just should be aware and adjust if needed...
I think if there are no updates by next week for the rest I will pair down the list at that point.
Any way keep up the good work everyone! As a group we are almost 200 LBS lighterLast edited by redcaesar; 12-18-2012 at 01:03 PM.

I think your right. Read the exact same thing... They used an example the contestants of biggest losers that were loosing 10-20 lbs in 1 week being far less unhealthy then keeping that 10-20lbs. So I guess as usually the general rule does not apply for everyone!

Well guys... Starting today I am officially doing C25K on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (my off days from AllPro). That will be my cardio for the foreseeable future.
If you would have told me a coupe of months ago that I would be jogging for any considerable amount of time (that didn't involve a buffet ) I would have laughed at you!

Im going to be officially dropping out. Im focusing on strength gains this year. I want that 300 pound bench.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Having a rough week. I keep weighing myself everyday, which is a terrible idea. I went from 308 to 313 overnight because of some chinese food and loads of water. Daily weigh-in = ****ty mentality.
Are any of you guys getting some body image issues? Before I started this journey, I never saw myself as a hideously fat guy but now it's all I can see in the mirror! It's disturbing.www.fattygoesrunning.com

Yes, yes and hell yes.... Frequent weigh-ins were had my head jacked up for a while. It's like I gave up one addiction and found a surrogate with the scale. Now, only on my officially designated weigh-in day.
As far as body image, well, I never really had a positive image of myself; however, like you I didn't really grasp how bad it was.... I think it's because we're paying more attention to it now. You are definitely now alone!
Reps on recharge,
