My out of control appetite is killing me. Ever since getting 2 major flues in a span of 3 months, and also when I started lifting heavy, I've gained LOTS of muscle and strength but ALOT of fat mainly because 40% of my daily intake are bad foods. Foods that makes me think about it all day and feel like crap if I dont have it.
Before, I took a supplement, which is now banned, and it help me lose around 70 pounds. I was able to avoid any food and would be fine eating nothing but veggies and lean meat.
Are there any foods, supplements, or tips you guys do to fight this?

sounds more like emotional eating than hungry eating. As mentioned, habit could be driving a lot of it. There are some good tips to reduce the cravings, but ultimately you have to decide to get past them mentally instead of relying on external resources to do it for you. I believe that is the long term answer for success.
Best of luck

I sound like u and a lot of it was habit. I find yohimbine hcl does help a bit. I do intermittent fasting too. Sleep at around midnight, I love sleep so I sleep in till like 9,10, even though my eating window is 7-3. It doesn't speed up fat loss but its a mental thing knowing that hey, when I wake up, I can stuff my face with my daily calories. This works for me cause my motivation to continue is high before bed but when I wake up I feel like eating everything and anything in sight.
When people are doubting you, when people are badgering you to get tanked every weekend, when people claim you're boring, just remember you're doing this for you. No one else. If people are too narrow minded to acknowledge your sacrifice, your blood, sweat and tears, your hard work and your happiness to better yourself as a person, they aren't worth it. Simple as that.

Surprised no one has said the best appetite suppressor known to man..
Water
Test it once and you'll see it works, and it works for hours, just down 1 litre of water, and even if you have the dirtiest carbs near you, you'll probably walk away as you wont feel like eating it.

hard gainer = making excuses not to eat food, excuses of being afraid to put on a little fat, lack of effort in the gym, not enough protein, little sleep, eating "clean" food with little calories instead of dense calorie food. Notice how the "hard gainers" are always little skinny guys? They are skinny for a reason, they are afraid to eat.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

You can have chips and/or sweets, just have them in moderation. Eventually, you will get used to eating less food. Don't get me wrong, there will still be days when you're ravenous, but overall it gets better. Most importantly, remember what you're trying to accomplish. Inevitably, there will be days when you want to eat everything in sight and you will have slip ups. Just get back down to business and remember your goals. You won't reach them without sacrifice.
As for things to suppress your appetite - EC works well, but that (the appetite suppression) wears off after a while. I haven't really tried any other supps, but I'm sure there are some out there that suppress appetite (which is all you're really looking for since no legal "fat burners" boost metabolism to any significant degree). I've heard OEP is decent and some people swear by green tea. Also, as someone mentioned, water is good. I used to drink 12-16 ounces before a meal and found I got full much faster.2/14: 218

Even though we preach that Macro nutrient sources and meal timing are largely irrelevant when it comes to body composition they are very important when it comes to long term adherence. The easiest way to to avoid the 4500 calorie binge is to keep yourself full of high volume low calorie foods. (Egg whites, green veggies, lean protein etc.. etc...) The easiest time to commit to a diet is right after you have eaten a big meal, and the same goes for sticking to a diet. Its much easier to say no to the pizza with a belly full of chicken and broccoli. When you eat is much more individual, for me IF works best. I eat in a 6 hour window before bed, that way I am always full when I go to sleep. For others the frequent small meals work better. I suggest you play around with it to find what works for you.
That said, if you want something chemical EC stack is the most effective appetite suppressant I know of.My Reverse Diet Log

A couple of tips:
- Put everything out of sight that you usually snack on - as long as it gets in your line of vision, you are reminded of it.
- Drink a glass of water before a meal. Your body can't differentiate between food and water filling up the stomach.
- Use smaller plates. No kidding, psychologists found that smaller plates look fuller and people ate less.
