I'm in. I tore my tricep a few years back and stopped working out. This year my wife became pregnant and I have put on 25 pounds in 8 months as if I am pregnant myself. No more excuses, I started working out again today and eating right.

Goal: 185
Want to be at my goal by Feb 3rd, my first childs due date. By March 1st, my goal is to be at 175 sliced and diced.

I started today with mexican and a whey protein shake probably wont be at a deficit but shouldnt be over maintenance. Im fasting the rest of the day.
ps...yesterday I only ate 740 calories (fell asleep) and burned 1900 so that should offset today.Last edited by stingray72; 12-03-2012 at 02:15 PM.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Hey,
can you count me in this contest? I'm kinda late..kinda. I just came back to this site after doing a pre-summer cut and losing like 40+lbs...I kinda stopped the cut and coming to this site over the summer cuz summer kinda happened, then I moved, new job, and what not. The good news is that site was detrimental to me accomplishing that goal so I'm diving head first in.

I got pretty close to my goal but a shoulder injury sidetracked my whole plan; but I did not fall far as I've never really stopped the stricter dieting.

Goal: 185-190
I wanna be sliced and diced for spring; not summer this time. I never really stopped eating right, had a load of alcohol this summer though, hence the extra weight.March 1st -June 1st Weight Loss:

The fatboy in me wants to start cutting Jan.1st but I did that last year and ended up having to maintain 8%-10% for like 9 months....lol.. not an easy task... Think I am going to START march 1st this year and give myself 3 more months on this bulk... up 25lbs so far and still in the same 34/34 pants.... what up!!! #bulkgoneright good luck everybody!!

okay so i am 6'1 186 i have 4 months to get as ripped as possible, so i feel like i dont want to be cutting for that long so why not put on a a little more muscle for the next two months then the last 2 months cut like a mofo.
This is my weekly workout right now.
Mon - Chest/tri. and abs
Tues - Legs. and abs
Wed - Back/bicep. no abs
Thurs - ONLY abs.
Fri - shoulders. no abs
this monday i started taking "concrete creatine" and also a fat burner/pre workout called "NDS cardio Cuts" i realized that taking both would be stupid because i wont really be building much muscle, because i will be losing some while trying to get ripped.. so why waste both products i said, so i came to the conclusion that i was going to just take concrete creatine for the next 2 months and then take my cardio cuts the last 2 months on my legit cut. and so what my questions are,
1st - Is my workout routine good for putting on some muscle? (forgot to add that i take whey 3 times a day(1 scoop each time lol)... morning, afternoon, post workout)
2nd - how should i eat for the next 2 months while on concrete if i want to put on as much muscle as possible without letting my self gain to much extra fat.
3rd - on my thursday schedule above i said I'm only doing abs and thats it. would it be bad if i did chest day again that day, if I'm slacking at my chest the most and still
did abs?
4th - while i am on just concrete creatine i am still going to do cardio 3 times a week. (mon,wed,fri) will that effect my muscle building at all? cause i am trying to put on as much as i can in the next 2 months before my final cut!
so if anyone can answer these 4 questions for me that would be fantastic and i would really appreciate it!

Won't join in any official capacity, but I'll drop in from time to time to provide a bit of friendly competition and positive reinforcement!
Just highlighted Dec 1st on my spreadsheet for my ref - starting stats are 160.4 @ 18.3 BF, Height 5'8", age = old.
Short term goal: 150 @ 14% before New Years. Ambitious, but I'm in the zone - it's go time.
