Due to an injury, I can only currently do upper body work. I am focusing on bench press for strength, and am wondering how many days I should do it. I am quite new to lifting, and some good advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Building on from the advice given already...
If you're like me and don't have time to lift every day you'll have to use a two week system to ensure you train equally.
Week 1 -
Mon: Back and Biceps
Wed: Chest, triceps and shoulders
Fri: Back and Biceps
Week 2 -
Mon: Chest, triceps and shoulders
Wed: Back and biceps
Fri: Chest, triceps and shoulders
The above split will ensure you get enough rest. I hope you recovery quickly brah, training legs does more than just build bigger quads.
