umm maybe because we dont want him to hurt himeself.
Him hyper extending his back isnt even from his form breaking down because the wight is heavy, it looks like he completely did it by force of habit. It can lead to getting a herniated disk. No one told him it was a bad pull, we are simply trying to prevent him from hurting himeself for the next time he pulls.
