Yea my calves are genetics, it helped a ton as a sprinter but isn't helpful in the bb'ing world (high inserting smaller calves)
I'm surprised with the traps comment though - i'm often told my traps are tooo big and overpowering in my physique. I agree on delts, they're extremely strong but i've been working on bringing out more size in them.
I appreciate it man, i definitely am killing abs lately and my calves i always work but they're more genetics than anything. I'll try to rep everyone i can once i get off recharge, already used my 5 fresh ones earlier in this thread

Want honesty?
-Stop doing physique, come on man we know it's good to get your feet wet but take the plunge already. You have a physique that would be better for bodybuilding anyway.
-Need to show up way leaner- even if for fun
-Calve/arm Symmetry is way off
-Hanging leg raises need to be your new favorite ab exercise
-Upper chest needs work
Other than that looking good, you need to post your legs though.Last edited by Zachary533; 11-21-2012 at 05:22 PM.

I agree on delts needing to be brought up a bit more, not sure on arms though. Maybe triceps. I have right around 18" cold, so they've got plenty of size to them. I guess i turned my chest from my weakpoint to a strongpoint - success! haha.
I do hanging leg raises often, i thought my upper chest was good but my lower chest needed work? Perhaps i was wrong, i do a lottt of upper chest work (well, chest work in general). Agreed on the leanness factor, although the one in my avi i'd argue i came in lean enough for that one. What is off with my calves and arm symmetry? Not disagreeing, just could use a more in depth response there so i know what exactly you mean to see if i should work on it. Thanks
Hrmm some say chest is too big, you say not big enough? Argh haha. And yea my abs/mid section needs work. Even when i'm wicked lean i have a bit of a blocky mid section, possibly from all the heavy deads/squats - not really sure why. I agree, delts could use some more size to them. Thanks bro.
Just started giving it more reps/sets and really focused on the form/contraction. Also will hit it sometimes twice a week. Essentially giving it more time and reps/sets, since it tends to grow slower than my other muscle groups.

Oh the guy who won class b, great physique on him (no homo) e didn't win overall though, mike balan did from class A.
My proportions are just not there yet.
yea I'll keep hitting delts hard, I actually started working out at 8 years old. So I don't really have a 'before weight so to speak
thanks man, I agree. Working hard on it man. Thanks

Hmm, don't think you're too big for MP at all, just a little diproportionate maybe
definitely abs need to be a bit more visible, one of the key components of MP is the abs
also your chest seems to overpower a little bit, you could use a little more size on the shoulders and traps to compensate
ITT though you probably just needed to come in leaner and I don't think it would have been a big problem-- and pose to your strengths a little bit more and you'd have been fine (could have flared the back a bit more on some of the poses etc.)
also do I spy hair on dem calves? that must not happen aha
props though, like me you are one of the few in the MISC that has actually competed, much respectPersonal Trainer and WBFF Pro Classic Physique

Hello dear friend!
As we've already talked about, leanness and conditioning would be high on the list.
Can't tell if its just the relaxed nature of your front pose, but lats and traps look a little large for physique... Maybe let some width come off your lats; you'll look a little more narrow and streamlined from the front.
Also, maybe bring up upper chest and shoulders... Not sure how the physique pros are such skinny narrow *******s yet have those inflated chests, shoulders and biceps...but that would appear to be what the judges like.
Edit: not sure why everyone's so worked up about your calves... They're probably in the top 90th percentile as far as men's physique is concerned lol
Also, interesting mixed feedback in this thread... I'm guessing that people are looking at this from a general bodybuilding standpoint. If you want constructive criticism, talk to physiquebrahs. You're friends with Anton, right?Last edited by bambiemcfly; 11-21-2012 at 11:14 PM.

You are trully inspiring and mirin your physique and will power, but i will be brutally honest with you so don't hate me
you look too bulky
your abs sucks big time, stop working your oblique by anyway just do basic core stuff
get leaner as you already know
more upper chest
less lats, also don't flex that hard them you will lose points

Thanks man i agree entirely, i am holding a lot of water. I wasn't two days before the competition... but then it just kinda shifted and i started retaining water, no idea why. I still don't know my body fully. Probably why people hire prep coaches.
Haha yea man I know, i just refuse to shave my legs, lol. Maybe I will next time around. And i agree entirely, i'm not 'too big' it's just my proportions aren't right for physique right now. So I could either keep growing and go BB'ing, or work on fixing my proportions while coming in leaner and more streamlined come spring time. That is my current constant internal debate. hah
Also - mirin avi big time bro. (no homo). Lookin thick solid tight
Agreed. No idea on what you mean about the nipples though, lol. I do have slight gyno in my right nipple. It's been there since i was 13, sucks, would love to get it removed someday.
hahah thanks man i appreciate it.
Yea i'd like something sort of in the middle. I'd love to be on the bigger physique side, but with physique proportions (ie: insane abs, shoulders, chest, and arms).
Thanks bro. My lats seem to overpower in my front shots though, i am extremely wide. I'm working on making my back denser so it'll look better in the back shots.
Thanks bro
Haha Misses McFly! Your advice is always much appreciated . I agree entirely, my proportions are off for physique. They love the narrow look with massive chests/shoulders/biceps. (aka Anton's impressive physique fits the bill perfectly). Whereas I am kind of a slab of muscle in random spots and not overly streamlined. We shall see what direction I go this off season and what happens come spring time Still half undecided on what route i want to take - but i'm tempted to try and fix my proportions a little bit and lean up properly and give it one last hoorah. I hate not excelling in something. Have a good thanksgiving! Is Mike celebrating american turkey day, too? I love being canadian living in the US... i get two thanksgivings every year. feelsgoodman.jpg
