Also is tobacco a popular note? Don't want to smell of alcohol and cigarettes, but this cologne has both of them.

tobacco is not very popular. imo mainly niche frags have them. pure havane is the only designer frag i know that has it. then comes tobacco vanille and chergui (in which i can barely smell it anyway).

I believe tobacco is in D&G Pour Homme, D&G The One, Versace The Dreamer, Versace Man (Purple), Chergui, Pure Havane & ***** by ***** PH. All fragrances I like and none of which smell like cigarettes ha.

That has been my experience at Nordstrom where the SA will just make you a sample of whatever you want to try.
