Having a great time today.
Worked on my motorcycle brakes for a bit until I hit a stopping point.
Then I lifted weights in the living room while watching the football game.
No bs turkey to cook or people to entertain that i dont care for, just me.
its wonderful and under rated.
Keep in mind that I have worked for years to get to this point so for all you haters out there wasting time with unwanted relatives today, you too can free yourself.
it just takes some well thought out goals and planning.
I made a chicken yesterday and will eat a chicken sandwich in a little while in my underwear in front of the tv.

I tell it like it is, if you want smoke blown up your ass or something sugar coated. I suggest you get a Hooker and a powdered donut.

Similar to my day. Minus the sitting in my underwear. I chose to sit and home and watch football instead of going to my families today. No one complained, me and my brother don't get along anyway and being in the same house leads to tension. Took a few calls from family members to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving, but other than that been a nice, quiet day.
The wife left for work a half hour ago so I have my 2 year old boy and watching the Dallas-Washington game.
I didn't miss the food and I certainly didn't miss the company. It's not something I will do every year, but for once it was nice to sit in my pajama's and take a day to myself.Tough Times Don't Last-Tough People Do.

I was up and out to the gym early, had a good workout. Stopped on the way home for bagels, lox. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, home fries, bagels, lox, coffee for all.
About noon I was cleaning leaves from my gutters and my boys came out to help hang Xmas lights. Got everything up and it looks good. I won't turn them on for a couple of weeks, better to do them at 60* than 35*.
Went to my BILs about 4:30... ate like we were going to the gas chamber, his wife is an excellent chef. Got to catch up with family. My BIL's wife... her brother (age 67) has parkinsons and his wife has some complication from diabetes going on, very thankful my family practices a better lifestyle.
