Legs!
working on transitioning into PHAT by working a little more hypertrophy into my routines.
today was one of the first leg hypertrophy days I've had in a long time haha
post workout weight: 177
Back Squats
45 x 12
135 x 12
185 x 12
185 x 10
185 x 8
225 x 3 (working on contractile speed)
225 x 3
225 x 3
Unilateral Leg Press
160 x 10
160 x 10
205 x 8
205 x 8
Leg Press
270 x 8
180 x 12
Notes:
Actually did some cardio yesterday.
-10 min stationary bike @lvl 12, finishing with a 30 second sprint at lvl 20
-went through my leg routine
-8 min stationary bike @lvl 12
-7 min stair stepper @80 steps/min
not as much cardio as most of you guys do! but its a start.
whether or not this thyroid thing is the issue, its important for me to improve my cardiac health in general
(and for a much easier transition when I need to use that power during my cut)

torturous. higher reps tax my lungs and mentality more than my legs. but they sure do feel worked after. Definitely a good training tool to throw in the mix

lol reeeetarded amount of cals. I'm a bit concerned of the quality of foods im eating to reach these cals, so this summer (in the next week+) I'll be able to cook my food, so no more days of 200+fats, 600g carbs where 550 of them are refined sugars.
also adding in cardio. I really hope I dont burn up everything, but health is more important.

Good luck eating more. I'm pretty well maxed out on my intake, managed to gain about 5 pounds these past two weeks though. Something is finally working. You up studying for finals? If not, you better get to sleep, tomorrow's international chest day.
edit: I know those resting heart rate feels.
