Just not in the zone today. Legs was a last minute choice, after pushing them off for a couple days. No belt, my least favorite gym lol.
the moon was probably in the wrong place in the sky. something in the universe was off. also my warmup was a bit more intense than usual. I'll come back and tear it up on thursday or friday.

Definitely feel you on the drinking Aspect. I'm 21 and I college too and it's definitely tough. Best thing I've found is that I still drink every weekend but only like 2 or 3 drinks. And if I do end up letting loose and getting hammered, I just make sure to keep my diet perfect and still eat after the night out.

somewhat of a deload workout. My strength this week is seeming to be a slight issue, so I decided early workout to focus on the muscle more than the weight. Decrease rest times, and increase stimulation through slower, controlled reps.

I might ...try and take a full 7 days off to recover. I've been going heavy for the last few weeks and this could be my body telling me to give me time to repair/grow. It will also give me a chance to put on a few extra lbs; at this point even some bodyfat will do me good.

Agreed. Especially after you go super hard on a weekend, you can't just dive into the week expecting it to be like the week before. Take at least a few days (so yeah, probably the remainder of the week) to focus on your diet and hydration while taking it about 60% in the gym.

I used to lift "light" during my deload weeks, but my ego would always got the best of me and I'd end up doing some heavy sets... Now, I just take a week off from lifting all together, this works much better for me. I try to deload every 10-12 weeks.

thanks brotha. thats what im fearing too haha. I'll get driven crazy taking time off, but going into the gym and planning on 60-70% rarely ends up with me doing 60-70% lol
