Honestly, it would probably be better for us if we beat UK handily and still aren't ranked heading into Bama. I feel like all the pressure would be on an unimpressive thus far Tide team and no pressure on a quite impressive UF team. Recipe for an upset, but Driskel could easily throw a pick 6 with one of his one read horizontal passes :/ please respond

I'm not concerned. The rankings don't really mean anything until at least week 4, or really anything at all this year. The EMU game doesn't mean we're going to hang 60 on everybody, but it does mean that our team and coaches are getting along, that our players were comfortable.... Our OL looked improved, but I still think Driz was still getting more contact than he should have.

The point is, we are supposed to decimate teams like this, but we haven't executed against these kind of teams in 5-6 years. The 3 OOC non-rival games should be 30+ margin of victory, +/- a shutout; they haven't been since Tebow... This is just the VERY FIRST time the offense pretty much scored at will vs "just trying to score more than the other guy" in the Muschamp era. There were a few misfires, but no one should be expecting 100% perfect execution on every play.


Muschamp said in his presser that he told Kurt to play Harris and to not "sit on the ball", which resulted in both of Harris' downfield shots. This should frighten everyone who has any question marks in their secondary.

I think it took a few years, but Muschamp has finally learned to embrace offense and points. It makes playing defense much easier, and more fun for everybody.

I am so fuarking excited about Debose and our defense and our running backs. I wish Taylor could get the carries he deserves, but nothing beats having so many fresh, talented backs who are trying to prove they are the best one. I really think our backs are the best in the country aside from UGA (that I have seen)

This is literally the same team as last season. Same dropped passes. Same missed blocks. Same blown coverage's. Same stupid ass penalties. They will probably lose this game.

Bama is going to be at least -14 on that opening line.

This is probably as bad as it gets as far as execution goes. Last week was near flawless and this is the other end of the spectrum.

We didn't run the counter enough, the dives were too predictable.

I still think we have a chance. IF and it's a big IF we can shut down their run, Sims might make some mistakes in the passing game. Just hope we get Debose involved in the offense and run Driskel a lot.

After rewatching the game on Sunday, I'm not sure what to expect because we were watching last year's execution with this year's playcalls. Where was the uptempo?

Driskel's touch on the deep ball is terrible...can't identify the blitzer pre-snap to save his life
Our safetys suck in coverage...especially Maye
Can't drop all those passes and should be interceptions if we want to have a chance to beat bama...and i didn't like the slower pace our offense seemed to play at...hope we play quicker to eliminate the amount of thinking Driskel has to do since he seems to play much better that way

More like slowtempo. It's like we hurry up to the line just to sit there for 10 seconds to have a shaky snap.


If we are going to beat Bama, Driskel HAS to hit some deep balls and keep the read option when he has an opening. Time for him to play like the 5 star recruit he was when he came out of hs.

Pretty much have no expectations for this game. It took me all day Sunday to recover from that last game.

I'm just hoping they at least keep it competitive and no blowout. If Driskel comes out and they keep trying that stupid ass pass in the flat/swings, it's going to be ugly quick.

Nearly 700 yards on the defense. This shiit never, ever happened even under Zook. Pretty much the tombstone for Muschamp. What a fukcin joke of a coach.

Driskel needs to chug a dick and ride the bench. Would rather see Harris/Grier get valuable time vs the ******* waste another season.

I hope they tank the season, Muschamp has to go.
