What are the foods you continue to go back to because your memory of them is always better than the reality?
For me poptarts is one. They are never as good as i remember.
Also chick Fil a breakfas biscuits. They are good but never what I expect. Also they always give me nasty burps/heartburn.

Cookie crisp and cinnamon toast crunch. These were so good when I was a kid. Bought a box of both recently and wasn't quite as impressed as I remember.

There's a breakfast place that we go to every time we visit the in-laws & I order the "sirloin" and eggs.. the steak is fatty & thin every time.
Fried cookies & whatnot at the state fair sucks too..

Gotta side with poptarts only because I'm tempted to try all the flavors. I bought a box of the pumpkin ones out of curiosity but peppered to be disappointed...

i literally semi like/will eat anything (besides mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, and mayo).
