Yeah, that makes no sense. Some people have trouble when they start squatting due to a lack of core strength though.
Anyway even if all you do is leg extension those should hit your quads really hard. You're hammies will just be extremely weak, but those don't show much anyway. Squat with good form hits glutes and core more than anything if you ask me. Also looks like you never work your calves.
