    Football Routine

What is a good routine for an offensive lineman. I just finished my senior season of high school football and now I am getting ready to play in college. How many days a week should I lift and what should my set and rep ranges be?

I would recommend 4 days a week focusing on olympic movements and compound strength movements. For ex., cleans, squats, bench, pullups, etc. Find a periodized plan that starts you off with higher rep ranges (8-10 for strength movements, up to 5 reps/set for olympics) at lower intensities and work your way towards lower reps at higher intensities.

Don't forget about everything else that should go into your program.....speed training, plyos, flexibility, conditioning, agilities, etc.

    Good Luck!

Im doing a bill starr type routine which is 3 days a week all I do is squat, bench, power clean, dead lift, barbell rows, overhead press (not all in one day)

The days im not lifting im sprinting or draggin a sled or tire to get that off-the-line speed.
    RAW

    20 years old

    420 bench
    500 squat (maybe more)
    600 deadlift (maybe more)
    330 power clean (no squat)

Depends on your starting point, and what you need to work on the most.

If your stats are right, you're already huge, so hypertrophy is not a concern... but do you have the strength to back that up?
    How about the Endurance?
    Where's your Agility at?
    What about Speed?
