I am in the market for a china cabinet or similar right now. I am going to convert it into a wineador liquor cabinet combo, looking into something similar to below. It will be waaaay less work to just rework a china cabinet, so I am going that route. My main question pertains to the humidor section. I want to use the shelves on the hutch (with glass doors) to store my cigars. I plan to rework the interior of those shelves with cedar, create a tight seal around the doors, including lighting, and provide proper air circulation and humidification. Right now, I just have several desktop humidors that hold 20-30 cigars, and I use humicare pillows in them. What should I use for this project? I plan on building a hygrometer into the door.

Sadly I can't give any advice, but hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng it will be beautiful when it's done. Hoping to undertake a similar project one day.

Was in Tampa, Orlando, Dallas, and Enid,OK for the last 10 days....Didnt get to go to Ybor but picked up some hand rolled smokes from a roller in Tarpon Springs...Smoked the bottom one already, it was nice and mild. Havent touched the other.

smoked these last night. The H&S was recommended to me for being full bodied, was ok, wood not smoke again though for the price.

Padron 6000 was ok, burned like a fuse and poorly at that.

May be holding off on smoking for a bit as I may have to replace some audio equipment I lost.

Was hoping it would had been better as my workout sucked balls and I needed something to get me in a better mood. Very tired and in desperate need of some sleep...TWO MORE DAYS!!! Smoked a PDR Liga Habano No. 5 last night. Pretty good stick. Good leathery and flavor with a mellow chocolate/cocoa coming in later. Good stick for the price.

Hadn't checked on my cigars for a while...(Winter here) But just did, and found a bit of fluffy white mold at the foot of one of them. I chopped the edge off with a cutter, and couldn't see any more mold....alright to smoke? Inspected the rest of the cigars - all looked good, except a little pack of cigarillos which were moldy all over... yuck, chucked them. The rest should be fine to smoke too, yeah?

Also, gonna order a couple 5 packs. I love the Don Pepin Garcia - Blue Labels, so any recommendations of that ilk?

I would have just brushed the mold off with my finger and thrown the cigar back into the humidor ... so yeah you're gonna make it bro.

My head just exploded whilst reading the US Customs laws. Can anyone provide clarification?

It states that any international citizen in transit from Cuba in possession of Cuban cigars is liable for punishment, including forfeiture and fines. However when I checked if I can be in possession of Cubans bought in an international duty free, it said there was no problem.

The whole thing didn't quite make sense, do any non US brahs have experience with this?

I'm flying from Heathrow to Boston on the 28th September and was planning on raiding the duty free, but I also don't want to get infamously obliterated by US customs. I will be in the country a month, from London to Boston, then Boston to LA, then LA to Sydney; so lots of opportunities to be caught.

It wouldn't be the end of the world, except Heathrow's selection of Non-cubans is outrageous.

You should be good. I actually think you can bring in under 100$ worth from cuba too, but the whole law is against direct trade with cuba. So duty free are good.

Whats the difference? This stuff was called Grizzly something. Had a minty smell.

good ole grizzly wintergreen. Main difference is dip you just put in your cheek and let it sit, its got a finer cut and is imo stronger. Chew is longer thick strands of tobacco usually cured/flavroed with molasses or something like that, that you wad into a ball the size of a golf ball and chew on. Much sweeter tasting and less of the spins.
