    We need pics!

    I usually set up my taxes so I don't really have much of a refund, so there will be no shopping spree for me.

    [QUOTE=ninjaneer;646039203]We need pics!

    I just ordered them today. But I'll put some up as soon as they get here. On a good note the Ironmasters shipped out about 4 hours after I ordered them. Also Carl Middleton from total strength and speed is going to deliver the bench himself when he visits MTSU. Gonna save me a few hundro on shipping, so a big shout out to him. The rack should ship this month too. I got the rack with the holes pre drilled for the wing storage (no extra cost) That way I can add those next year. I'm stoked!!!

    wow. we need pics of that, too. if you got all that at retail, you must've had quite the refund. grip plates on CL go for $0.75-1.50/lbs and i'm not even going to try and guess what hammer strength gear retails for.

    The bars and plates were around 1800 out the door delivered, Its roughly the same package gtech has for sale for I believe around 1600, minus the bars, so I am thinking it was in the $2.40 a pound or there about. I just wanted a local business to get close to the online retailer price.

    I will post pics when everything gets here, I am thinking first two weeks of April.

    What kind did you get? Price? I need a good trap bar.. My gym has only one rack, short bars, and no rule against curling in the rack... and the HS machine isn't bolted down, so lifting anything over 400 makes it move.. NTM, I want to try TB Deads...

    ...i'm sure everybody knows this, but by waiting until tax season, if you get a sizeable refund then you've just given the government a sweet interest-free loan. you could have been using that money during the year either to eliminate debt and thus get more for your dollar, or put it in savings or investments and also get more for your dollar. just sayin...

    You're definitely right, have your money work for you. However sometimes you can't plan everything.

    This may be true, however I know from personal experience my standard of living increases to max out my income, so if I did get the money spread through the year it would get spent on day to day dumb crap like starbucks, etc. Getting a big chunk at tax time makes it "bonus" money I can spend on big ticket items I want but feel guilty about buying at other times. Its easier to justify, while knowing I am giving the economy a much needed boost...yeah that's why I bought the U90s...

    Well, you can't "claim" EIC or Child Tax Credit or Makihg Work Pay credit throughout the year. You're stuck with waiting these out, unfortunately. But how I'd love to have extra cash income each month!

    You can tell you employer exactly how much to withhold in dollers and cents. That way you don't overpay throughout the year.

    I will be getting a bill too, small one for this unconstitutional theft of my hard earned money.

    Withholding of $0. Like I said, EIC, Child Tax, Making Work Pay, etc CANNOT be accounted for in withholdings from paychecks.

    I'm not sure of the brand, but it is the kind with the two sets of handles, one set parallel with the main bar and one set raised. I paid $75 for it, and it is like new. I love the thing and use it every week. IMO trap bars are wonderful, and have become for me, indispensible
