Degree in English... working in an unrelated field (though I worked for three years in a related field)
Have always wanted to be a Veterinarian/Assistant but was intimidated by math classes; was not sufficiently prepared in high school!
Still think about going back to school - would have to start over though and then vet schools are competitive!

The life of every party...pure math, wow! I contemplated that after my first semester, but I figured unless I could be at the top of my class and go for a PHd I might not find a job.
I have a BSc in engineering and practicing in my field for 16yrs now figuring out how to build stuff so rich dudes get just a little bit richer.

If you ever feel the need to use a gold detector in or around my personal space, I think we can make an arrangement.
I've just finished 1 semester in Bachelor of Creative Industries. I didn't do enough units in gold digging, so my own stayathomebummologist career just wasn't playing out the way I'd hoped it would. Whilst in B.CI I majored in...nothing. I don't select a major just cus the cool kids are doing it, I'm an individual. Also, it was always my plan to transfer out of it this coming semester into Bachelor of Education (which I've just accepted an offer into), so I didn't want to do too many unnecessary units. In B.Ed (I look forward to spending the next four years telling people: "I'm in B.Ed right now, just chillaxing, having a snooze") I'm majoring in secondary (ie high school) English and...something. Probably health. Or physics. Health will be easier for me to do well in and is something that matters to me; physics will get me jobs but will also require me to actually think on occasion, drawing on the advanced maths skills that I never developed in high school as I took my revenge against being put in the advanced maths class in years 9 and 10 by being in the basic maths class in year 11 and 12 when I had a say in the matter (in hindsight, my education probably wasn't a good target for my vengeance).SQ 172.5kg. another english major checking in ba and first master's were in english; second master's was from seminary. i've pretty much always worked in a field related to english.
i'd definitely be interested in hearing areas of focus in literature/creative writing/theory that the rest of you english or related majors concentrated on.+R.I.P. Mainsqueeze530+
