No one muscle group gives you aesthetics, an aesthetic physique is one which is well proportioned and symmetrical. Chest genetics and wide shoulders are really important though.

i have very good back genetics, and my lats are poppin'. my shoulders look good and in a shirt i look very broad up top but my chest genetics suck and as a result my aesthetics are severely impaired by a chitty chest.

ok, but i bet you are just harsh on yourself. you probably look better than you think IF your shoulders and lats are truly that good

your chest has to be at least decent if your shoulders and lats are that good. it may be lagging, but it will still be trained through most of the exercises that work shoulders, and even some of the ones that work lats.

that doesn't mean that entire racial populations don't have genetic divides, but this doesn't necessarily apply to each individual person
