My friend accidentally sent the marker in one of his classes the wrong attachment (he sent him one for a completely different class i think) and caught his mistake just after he sent it, so he sent in the correct one literally 20 seconds later. He said he's going to give him 0 because he only marks the first one, but he just went and spoke to the professor about it and noted that there was 20 seconds from the two e-mails and that it was a mistake. Prof understood and bam marked the right one.

I have a feeling that if there's a "technical issue" like that, depending on your prof, it could probably work
