Alright so I've finally got my truck tuned as best I know how. There's a guy that does full custom tunes with the diablo tuners; he actually has the CMR software to write custom tunes. Everyone on various forums SWEAR by his tunes, saying there's a night and day difference between the diablo canned tunes and his custom tunes. It's gonna set me back another $150... I'll wait until after I get my cold air intake so I can take full advantage of a custom tune.
For now here's a 0-60 with using the Diablo tune (93 octane) with firm shifts, active fuel management disabled, and torque management lowered as much as it would allow. Apparently you can't completely turn off the TCM with my transmission like you can with the 6 speed version... FU GM!!!!
It's a truck... still slow, but it definitely woke it up and you can feel the extra power. Driving around town today with about 40% highway miles, I gained 3MPG, and I'm running the performance tune with active fuel management disabled!
You can really see the firm shifts near the end of the video.
I have no idea how much HP I've gained, but the diablo tuner is reporting 354.9 ft/lb of torque at around 3,800RPM, stock is 338... decent gains! Here's a screenshot of the data log I ran during the 0-60 run.

Not sure who all still has this subbed but I think it's time to start logging again
Shoulder, lower back, and pec issues made it completely pointless to log my workouts for the last 5-6 months. Right now all are healed up and I'm trying to ease back into the old PPL routine audie hooked me up with.
I took a week off around January just to rest up, the day before I was supposed to start back I got the flu and had to sit out for another week. First time I think I've had a fever over 103 since I was in middle school. Over the course of those two weeks I lost nearly 15lbs

- I was supposed to do some side laterals and one other thing for tri's but ran out of time. I've been struggling with my standing OHP numbers since the shoulder issues... I did manage to hit 145 last week when I did SOHP before anything else.Last edited by da2ricky; 05-08-2015 at 06:46 PM.
