-At the start of the semester professor talks about how serious he is about plagiarism
-I had this assignment worth 10% of my grade where I had to make a fake instructional memo
-Day before its due I forgot I had to do it so I search the web for some ideas
-Took parts of it from the web and added it to my memo
-Professor emails me saying i plagiarized the assignment and will get an F for the course and I must speak with him to discuss next steps.
-OP remembers that professor doesnt tolerate it and might royally fuk OP hard (explusion)
-OP reads his school policy and realizes he is in the level 2 violation
-Level 2 = assignment less than 25% of overall course grade(this assignment was 10%) , Level 3 = more than 25% of overall course grade
-Professor says he will report me to the department
-OP fears professor will go out of his way to get OP kicked out school
My question is since he didnt report me yet, what if I drop the class tomorrow morning? Can he still report me and punish me?
Last thing I want is something on my transcript
am i overreacting? should I pepper thy angus?

OP, grab sum pepper, your angus needs it. But srsly its out of your hands now. Colleges take plagiarism super seriously, man up to it and talk with him, explain your situation to him (although there is no excuses for plagiarism) and you might luck out and he may just give you the F instead of reporting you.

The class is still on your transcript. When you drop a course at my school you get a W
U dun goof'd. I'm usually terrified of having a sentence or two that I wrote in a multi page dissertation come up as similar when I submit things to turnitin, you copied more than a third of your assignment.** New Jersey Crew 732 **

Depends on your school's policy. But, he can certainly report you to the Dean. They will figure out what to do with you. You probably won't be expelled, but will have it on your record. Assuming you're in college, if you choose to go to graduating school, you will have to report it on your applications.

edit: You are an absolute fool. I don't understand how or why people plagiarize. Wtf moron, just write it out yourself.
Now everyone will know, and yes, it will be in your transcripts. Good luck going to grad school or getting a job. Start filing for food stamps, srs.

Just tell him you handed in the draft that you were using to get ideas by mistake.(you printed the wrong one out)
He will know you are talking bullchit but it' a decent defense so he will most likely say okay, don't do it again and accept the new assignment. Reporting you will be a hassle and he will only do it if he doesn't like you.
Do the assignment properly and take that to him when you see him.ok mate

Feel bad for you OP. Beg, cry, show him that you're upset and that you won't do it again. Do anything to get that off your academic record, receive the F if you have to. If you have academic dishonesty on your transcript you can say goodbye to any chance you have at graduate schools. They take academic dishonesty seriously and will decline you based on that even if the rest of your application is stellar. I had a similar situation last week but my professor was remorseful and gave me one more chance.

Doesn't matter if you drop or not, you still plagerized. All you can do is play it off like you forgot to cite it or paraphrase correctly. Ask him if you can re-do it and it was an honest mistake.
Unless you literally copy/pasted a ton of ****. In that case, you're not cut out for college anyway so just drop out meow
