Bonsai Trees



A room with no plants is automatically less impressive and less comfortable than one with them. Something living is pretty essential and I guess it shows you can manage you keep something alive. Bonsai trees can be hard work but resellers usually sell "hard to kill" starter trees. Chuck it in a nice bowl and stick it on your coffee table.

A kind of orangey, woody scent, very fresh. Nothing else really smells like it, makes a good signature scent.

Un Jardin Apres La Mousson Eau by Hermes (A Garden After the Monsoon)



Basically smells like the far east after a monsoon (minus the cholera). Kind of melony, peppery, gingery.
